12. Gyukatsu Motomura 

Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) is pretty common here, but have you tried gyukatsu (fried beef cutlet)? Beef is difficult as is to cook perfectly, and deep-frying it while still trying to preserve the tenderness and juiciness is even tougher — but Gyukatsu Motomura does it perfectly. Paired with some house-made wasabi, this is bound to be a meal that you’re going to remember for days in Tokyo.

13. Moomin Valley Park 

For a break away from Tokyo’s bustling city centre, visit Moomin Valley Park in the Greater Tokyo area. 14. Small Worlds Tokyo 

Accordingly the world’s largest indoor miniature amusement park, Small Worlds Tokyo houses many incredible minuscule displays recreated at 1/80 of the actual size that will blow your mind with the attention to detail and intricate storytelling via the exhibitions.

Stroll past what looks like rolling meadows, greenery all around, and beautiful colonial houses, as you make your way to various artists’ homes and studios – and spend the day discovering this lovely locale from 5 to 6 November 2022.  

This walking art tour used to be held annually – at least until COVID-19 hit, and there was a pause – until now. It’s finally back and if you’ve never been on an art walk here… You might probably want to mark your calendars and head over during the Artwalk @ Wessex 2022 weekend coming up soon!

For this iteration of the art walk, seven artists who live and work here will be opening their doors to you. So you can easily check the map to visit their homes and studios and view their art. And as someone who’s been to several of these art walks, I would say that one of the best parts of this is being able to meet the artists, see their beautiful colonial homes, and view their art.
