One of the main highlights is the bathtub ball pit— a sure hit with everyone that’s equal parts quirky and fun. There’s also a photobooth that prints adorable, exclusive Wiggle Wiggle framed photo strips, which you can capture the moment and bring it home with you. 

The merchandise section is a fan favourite for a reason. From colourful stickers to charming stationery, even water bottles and cute pouches, it’s perfect for your shopping pleasure or a surprise gift for a friend.

There are also exclusive items such as the Jelly Figure (S$17), Makeup Pouch (S$31), Tufting Mirror (S$66) and more. With items starting as low as S$1.50, the merchandise is irresistible not to buy as a little cute memento to remember the Wiggle Hotel adventure. 

Luckily for you, there’s no strict check-in timing to Wiggle Hotel as it operates fully within Plaza Singapura (next to The Body Shop) from 1 November 2025 to 4th January 2026, with its pop-up being made available from 10am to 10pm.

You’ve probably heard of Tiffany and Co.’s signature Blue Box Cafe or Vivienne Westwood’s bar restaurant in Shanghai, China. But I found out that there’s another high-end brand that entered the food and beverages (F&B) industry recently. 

It’s none other than the Coach Restaurant, bracing its presence within Singapore. Located at Jewel Changi Airport, just next to the Coach retail outlet, is the brand’s first-ever flagship restaurant. 

Once you enter the restaurant, the chic interior will give off the impression that you’re in the heart of New York City (NYC). It’s complete with cosy leather nooks, wall decorations based on NYC pop culture, and even an iconic full-sized yellow taxi that looms over you while you’re dining in. 

What immediately stands out is the elegant tableware—think leather coasters, stitched menu covers, and a polished layout that reflects the same attention to detail Coach is known for. The words “The Coach Restaurant” can be found embossed in the menu covers, giving a nod to the brand’s craftsmanship and collections.

Other than the pretty interior, guests also get to dine with an even more luxurious view of the Rain Vortex. If the seats by the Rain Vortex are already occupied, take a seat by the open woodfire kitchen to get a close-up look at the chefs and their work. 

Speaking of culinary geniuses, the former head chef Kurt Sombrero, from Burnt Ends and Meatsmith Little India, is the mastermind behind the creative twist of steakhouse classics and embodies the brand’s signature feel. 

Some steakhouse classics that caught my eye were the  Caviar-topped Black and White Bagel (S$18) and Crab Cakes (S$30). The bagel mimics the classic black and white New York City cookies, while the crab cakes bring a familiar coastal flavour with a touch of Old Bay seasoning.

More classic options are the USDA Prime Cuts Rib-Eye 250g (S$90) and Japanese Satsuma Wagyu A5 Striploin (S$95), each served with roasted garlic and pats of creamy, thick butter shaped in the iconic Coach signature ‘C’. 

If you’re not a big fan of steaks, there are also other seafood and poultry options such as the Dover Sole (S$130) with citrus caper brown butter, lemon thyme roasted chicken and Maine Lobster (S$95) seared over open flames, finished with black pepper hollandaise. 

Dessert lovers with a sweet tooth are in for a treat—the 20-Layer Chocolate Cake (S$18), Flaming PB&J Bombe Baked Alaska (S$18), S’mores (S$12) and more.

What’s a steakhouse without the alcohol experience? You’ll be spoilt for choice, especially with over 90 bottles of all-American wine, from the most affordable Sauvignon Blanc (S$110) to the most prestigious choice of Cabernet Sauvignon (S$18,000). 

Lucky for all, the restaurant is open daily, from 11.30am to 10pm. Perfect for a birthday celebration with loved ones or an intimate night with your partner.  Or better yet, treat yourself to a solo date with this luxurious experience. 

And hey, who says you can’t cure your food coma with some nice retail therapy (hint: maybe it’s time to snatch that Coach bag you’ve been eyeing)?

Cheryl: As this was my first media invite, I felt a little nervous. I wasn’t exactly sure what the protocol was, but I figured I’d just go with the flow.

First things first, getting all our shots in while the food still looks fresh and untouched. I watched as the marketing girlies got to work with their DSLR cameras and ring lights. 

Cheryl: I found the whole back-end process pretty cool. It felt professional but fun at the same time since we’re all around the same age.

5pm

Cheryl: Okay, it’s my turn now. I try to look natural as I snap 25 angles of Tamago-EN’s new Tama-Sando selection. I now understand why food bloggers never eat their food hot. These are the things we sacrifice in the name of content. 

Cheryl: Here’s a picture of me holding my personal favourite Tamago-EN Tama-Sando out of the lot of nine — the Egg Salad Sando (S$5.50). This pick came after much deliberation (and several bites of everything). 

Close contenders for first place? 

The Crème Brûlée Sando (S$5.50) and White Peach Sando (S$5.50), which fought hard for the top spot. The marketing girlies and I collectively agree that these are our definite top three.

Cheryl: I honestly love all things eggy. I’d call myself an egg connoisseur of sorts, having tried eggs in just about every form — soft-boiled, scrambled, sunny side up — but the Ultimate TKG (S$6.50) was something completely new to me. The egg white is whipped until fluffy and laid gently over rice like a sleepy little Gudetama.

Cheryl: Was it going to be too airy? Too bland? I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about it at first, but honestly, it worked. I wholly did not expect the whites to be melt-in-your-mouth goodness and the soy sauce just adds that perfect savoury kick. 

Would I eat it again? 100%. It’s their signature for a reason and a must-try for fellow egg enthusiasts looking for something different. 

6pm

Cheryl: I’d say I have quite a big appetite being an avid foodie, but by this point, I was stuffed. Perhaps it was the late lunch I had earlier, but I now I know to come on an emptier stomach for future media invites. 

Cheryl: We were delighted with the food we had at Tamago-EN and I’m so thankful for having been given this opportunity. 

Key Findings:

• Don’t eat a late meal before food-related media invites
• TKG (Tamago Kake Gohan) is my new favourite way to have my egg done
• Don’t jiggle the egg dishes too hard (we don’t want spillage)

Actionables:

• Master the art of eating gracefully on camera
• Train stomach capacity to indulge in more food 
• Work on “holding food” poses for nicer shots 

Conclusion:
10/10 would do it again. Maybe with my editorial team next time so we can brainstorm all the descriptive words we can use whilst slipping into a food coma.

That’s exactly what you’ll find at Creamie Sippies, opening their first-ever dine-in outlet of Singapore’s only matcha mill on 11 August 2025. It’s a dreamy new concept in Keong Saik where everything is made in-house (yes, down to the matcha powder, which takes 60 minutes just to grind 30g).

This cosy space feels like a retro parlour donned with aesthetic furniture and full-length mirrors, making the place perfect for photo opportunities. There’s also an open-concept kitchen so you can watch your drinks being hand-whisked on the spot. 

Power sockets and toilets are also readily available, making it the perfect spot to work or study for hours without having to move.

So, what lip-smacking treats should you pair your next study session with? 

There’s been an ongoing trend for banana pudding matcha, and Creamie Sippies’ take is one of the best we’ve tried so far. 

Their Banana Pudding Matcha Latte (S$9.90) is a full-on dessert in a cup, layered with fluffy cream, thick banana pudding, whole banana chunks, and even ladyfingers like the kind you’d find in a classic tiramisu. Everything is topped with a generous sprinkle of biscoff crumbs for a little bit of bite.

Alongside the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte, their Strawberry Matcha Latte (S$8.90) is another one of their bestsellers at their original Bukit Merah outlet. The blend is smooth rather than chunky and tastes clean without any artificial strawberry flavour. Not too sweet or grassy, this matcha is a safe choice for first-timers easing into the matcha craze. 

Creamie Sippies has a full lineup of Keong Saik exclusive drinks like the Taro Coconut cloud (S$8.90), Butterfly Pea Coconut Cloud (S$8.90) and more. We decided to go with the Butterfly Pea Coconut Cloud one because it’s baby blue colour drew us in. 

While visually stunning, we found it to be simpler in taste, giving off hints of coconut water. It’s a good pick if you like floral notes and want something refreshing, but we say go for the matcha options instead. 

What’s a cafe hopping session without something to munch on? We just had to get some of their Banana Bread Cake (S$7.90) after tasting their Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. Spongey, moist, and warmly spiced with gula melaka and cinnamon, it’s the kind of homey dessert you’ll want to eat slowly to savour every last bit. 

If you like your cheesecake with a saltier touch, then give their Smoked Sea Salt Burnt Cheesecake (S$7.90) a go. Creamy in the centre and noticeably savoury, it’s a welcome change  from the usual sweet versions. 

You know how they always say to save the best for last. That was the case with their Hojicha Ice Cream (S$7.90) and it was worth the wait. Rich, creamy, and deeply roasted, this was a surprise hit. 

Cheese bits are folded into the mix to enhance the creaminess and help keep it from melting too quickly. There’s also a subtle warmth from smoked paprika that gives it a unique savoury finish.

Creamie Sippies brings together craft, aesthetics, and flavour under one pastel pink roof. We’d say this one’s worth adding to your cafe-hopping list.

For the first time, the Integrated Mobile Column combines air, land, and sea spectacle to feature an epic Aerial Flypast, Drive-Past at the Padang, and Maritime Display at Marina Bay. 

Keep a lookout for these timings for a dazzling explosion of fireworks across the night sky:

• 7.36pm and 7.47pm: Short bursts of fireworks
• 8.05pm: A longer fireworks display, complete with a light projector show across the city skyline
• 8.21pm: Final set of fireworks timed perfectly to the National Anthem

If you’re watching from home, look out your windows to catch the ‘Fly Our Flag’ Helicopter Flypast through the heartlands from 5.30pm to 6.20pm.

Heartland Celebrations

For those who want to beat the crowd, don’t fret because the National Day celebrations are being extended to the Heartlands on 10 August 2025.

From 11.30am to 1pm, keep your eyes peeled for the five convoys from the Mobile Column working their way across Singapore. They’ll be ending their journey at the five Heartland Celebration Sites, where you’ll find free NDP packs for ticket-holders and other fun activities for the family. 

If you’re at the open field next to Bishan Junction 8, you can even catch the Red Lions’ descent at 4pm.

The F-16 Flypast will also make its rounds across the Heartlands from 6pm to 6.30pm.
