After all, you can “camp” in air-conditioned comfort at this Chinese BBQ restaurant and bar that’s designed to look like a campsite in the forest.

Think lush greenery, “grass”, and “gravel” with a winding path in the middle, flanked by a ceiling full of “stars” and a glowing “moon” that makes for a great photo op.

Diners sit on folding chairs at camping tables complete with faux fire pits that make the space extra cosy in the evening.

On some nights, you can look forward to live music and free karaoke sessions — the latter is not for those who prefer to sing in the privacy of their own KTV room, though!

As for the food, you can tuck into grilled BBQ skewers including the likes of Mutton BBQ (S$2), Chicken Gizzard (S$2.50), Roast Pork with Enoki Mushroom (S$2.50), Sotong (S$3.60), and Dried Tofu Skin (S$1.50), amongst many others.

Complete the camping experience with cold and stir-fried dishes served in metal mess tins, like Beef Tongue in Chilli Sauce (S$12.80), Stir-fried Pork (S$14.80), Cumin Lamb (S$19.80), and Salt & Pepper Shrimp (S$20.80).

Make it a boozy affair with the restaurant’s extensive selection of beers, wines, liqueur, cocktails, and soju, which is fitting, given that it opens till late every day!
