But if you ask me, there’s no single Thai spot that is truly untouchable at the top—that is, unless we are talking about authenticity. Then, hands down, my vote goes to  Warm Up Cafe. 

Back when I was hanging around One-North, my go-to hangout spot with my friends was Warm Up Cafe. It has everything on your checklist for a surefire good time—delicious food, an assortment of alcoholic beverages, cosy vibes, and most importantly, live entertainment. We would spend hours there, laughing and catching up until the cafe was ready to close for the night. 

Now with three outlets islandwide, it’s safe to say that no matter which outlet you visit, you and your friends are in for a jolly good time—complete with drinks, delicious food, and lively music. 

When it comes to Thai food, there are a few must-try categories to judge authenticity — rich savoury gravies, fresh seafood, crispy finger food and decadently sinful desserts. On all such fronts, Warm Up Cafe definitely knows how to exceed my expectations. 

Whenever you’re there, a must-order item is their classic Green Curry with Chicken (S$18) or Tom Yum Clear Soup (S$18) to kickstart your meal. The rich, flavourful gravies alone transport me straight back to my experiences in Bangkok, savouring local goodies by the roadside. 

Next up, you have to dig into their sides, and honestly, who doesn’t love a good Pandan Chicken (S$17.50) wrapped snugly in fragrant pandan leaves? Even better, pair it with their crispy, juicy Thai Style Spring Rolls (S$12) or Fried Chicken Tendons (S$15) for the ultimate combo!

If you are after the true Thai experience, elevate your experience with their tangy and refreshing Mango Sticky Rice (S$12) or the creamiest Creamy Crab or Prawn Omelette Rice (S$13.90). 

When it comes to seafood (if you know me, I’m not a huge fish fan), I usually stick to crab and prawn dishes. Except this time, I caved in and tried one of their sea bass dishes. 

Before you wonder why I’m stepping out of my usual comfort zone, hear me out—if you were in my shoes and knew about their current promotion, I bet you’d be right there with me, doing the same. 

Their current promotion is a total steal; just hit a minimum spend of S$88, and you can claim either the Fried Seabass with Fish Sauce or Steamed Seabass with Lime & Garlic for just S$1. Isn’t that insanely amazing?

It’s available from 17 October 2025 to 31 December 2025 or while stocks last, across all three outlets at Buona Vista, Serangoon, and MacPherson. There’s no need to rush, especially since all outlets are operating daily from 11am to 3am. 

End the night on a sweet and boozy note with their Long Time No See (S$38), a fun mix of Jinro soju, Yakult, and colourful little Gummy Bears. It’s perfect for sharing with friends, or if you’re with a big group, go wild and order more.

Guess it’s time for me to hit Warm Up Cafe tonight, because honestly, you just can’t Thai me down!
