<h1 class="wp-block-heading" id="sushi">Sushi&nbsp;</h1>

<p>Although seafood is Halal, sometimes Japanese rice can contain <strong>sake</strong>, or there might be cross-contamination with non-Halal meat in sushi restaurants.&nbsp;</p>

<p>To make life easier, we’ve rounded up three Halal-friendly sushi spots to hit your cravings: <strong>Asakusa Sushi Ken</strong>, <strong>Fujiyama Tokyo</strong>, and <strong>Sushi Zenmai</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1. Asakusa Sushi Ken </h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-1024x683.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-103744" style="width:800px" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-300x200.jpeg 300w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-768x512.jpeg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-585x390.jpeg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-263x175.jpeg 263w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123.jpeg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: @asakusasushiken/Instagram&nbsp;</figcaption></figure>

<p>Top of the list is <strong>Asakusa Sushi Ken</strong>, located in Asakusa itself. They offer a variety of sushi, and their best seller is the <strong>Standard Sushi Set,</strong> which costs <strong>¥1,800 (~S$15)</strong> and includes nine <strong>Nigiri</strong> and one <strong>Tamago</strong> sushi.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The larger size costs <strong>¥3,000 (~S$25)</strong>, <strong>1.5 times</strong> bigger than the standard set. If you’re a <strong>big</strong> sushi lover, upgrading to the larger size is too <strong>great</strong> a deal to pass up.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Asakusa Sushi Ken&nbsp;</strong><br><a href="https://www.instagram.com/asakusasushiken/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a> | <a href="https://www.asakusa-sushiken.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Website</a>&nbsp;<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 111-0032 Tokyo, Taito City, Asakusa, 2-11-4&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f552.png" alt="🕒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 11.30am–11.30pm (Mon to Sat), 11.30am–10pm (Sun &amp; Public Holidays)&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2. FUJIYAMA TOKYO </h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124-819x1024.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-103745" style="width:800px" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124-819x1024.jpeg 819w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124-240x300.jpeg 240w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124-768x960.jpeg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124-1229x1536.jpeg 1229w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124-1170x1463.jpeg 1170w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124-585x731.jpeg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-124.jpeg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: @fujiyama_shinjuku/Instagram&nbsp;</figcaption></figure>

<p>Another spot is <strong>FUJIYAMA TOKYO,</strong> located in <strong>Shinjuku</strong>. Amongst their list of sushi, we recommend trying the <strong>FujiYama Sushi</strong> for <strong>¥1,749 (S$14.70).&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>For less than <strong>S$20</strong>, you’ll be getting four oversized <strong>Nigiri</strong> sushi of about <strong>20cm, </strong>topped with toro salmon, tuna, tamago, and roast beef. Sounds like every sushi lover’s dream!&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>FUJIYAMA TOKYO</strong><br><a href="https://www.instagram.com/fujiyama_shinjuku/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a> | <a href="https://jblm2024.wixsite.com/fujiyama-tokyo/en/shinjuku-east" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Website</a>&nbsp;<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 160-0022 Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shinjuku City, 5-15-2&nbsp;<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f552.png" alt="🕒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 5pm–12am (Mon to Fri), 11am–11pm (Sat to Sun)&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">3. Sushi Zanmai</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125-1024x1024.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-103746" style="width:800px" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125-1024x1024.jpeg 1024w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125-300x300.jpeg 300w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125-150x150.jpeg 150w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125-768x768.jpeg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125-70x70.jpeg 70w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125-585x585.jpeg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-125.jpeg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: @sushizanmaiofficial/Instagram&nbsp;</figcaption></figure>

<p>Check out <strong>Sushi Zanmai</strong>, specifically towards their <strong>Mawari</strong> <strong>Tsukiji</strong> <strong>branch,</strong> for the Halal-friendly experience. The sushi is approximately <strong>¥300</strong> each <strong>(~S$2.50)</strong> for, while lunch sets range from <strong>¥1,000–¥2,000</strong> <strong>(~S$8–S$16)</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Across their sushi menu, we recommend trying their <strong>Wagyu Sushi </strong>or <strong>Toro Tuna Nigiri</strong> sushi.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Sushi Zanmai&nbsp;</strong><br><a href="https://www.facebook.com/sushizanmaiofficial/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Facebook</a> | <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sushizanmaiofficial/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a><br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 104-0045 Tokyo, Tsukiji, Chuo City, 4-10-2<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f552.png" alt="🕒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 11am–11pm (Mon to Fri), 9am–11pm (Sat to Sun)</p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading" id="ramen">Ramen&nbsp;</h1>

<p>Most ramen spots use pork slices or pork broth, making it tricky for<strong> Muslim</strong> travellers to enjoy authentic ramen.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But not to worry, we’ve done the legwork and picked our top three halal-friendly ramen spots, so you can slurp a comforting bowl after a day of exploring Tokyo: <strong>Wagyu Yakiniku &amp; Ramen Naruto, Wagyu &amp; Vegan Ramen GYUMON Shibuya, </strong>and <strong>HALAL WAGYU Ramen &amp; Tempura Konoha</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">4. Wagyu Yakiniku &amp; Ramen Naruto </h2>

<p>What makes <strong>Wagyu Yakiniku &amp; Ramen Naruto</strong> different is that they offer a variety of Ramen dishes along with amazing <strong>Yakiniku</strong> sets that customers can choose from.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Their best-seller is the <strong>Wagyu Ramen</strong> made with<strong> Beef Broth</strong> and slices of <strong>Wagyu Beef</strong>. Overall, the prices aren’t available online, but based on social media, we noticed that it’s approximately <strong>¥3,000</strong> to <strong>¥4,000 (~S$25 </strong>to <strong>S$33).&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Tokitarazu</strong> is located conveniently near the <strong>Hiroo Station </strong>along the <strong>Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line</strong>. Among the entire list, we believe this restaurant has the <strong>most</strong> <strong>interesting</strong> concept.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Split into two floors, customers on the <strong>Ground Floor</strong> can experience either <strong>Lunch</strong> or <strong>Dinner</strong> sessions. Whereas the <strong>Second Floor</strong> is exclusively for customers who opted for the <strong>multi-course</strong> with <strong>Tuna </strong>and seasonal cuisine course. It’s priced at <strong>¥9,350 (~S$78) </strong>per person.</p>

<p>Their popular dish is the <strong>SAKURA Seafood Tempura Bowl,</strong> which goes for <strong>¥3,800 (~S$32)</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Another signature that we recommend opting for is the <strong>SAKURA Omakase Tempura Course,</strong> which features a mix of 14 different tempura choices, at just ~ <strong>¥7,800 (~S$65)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Tempura Asakusa SAKURA</strong><br><a href="https://www.facebook.com/tempura.asakusa/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Facebook</a> | <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tempura_asakusa/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Instagram</a> | <a href="https://tempura-asakusa.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Website</a>&nbsp;<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f4cd.png" alt="📍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 111-0034 Tokyo, Taito City, Kaminarimon, 2−18−16 THE CITY 7F<br><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/1f552.png" alt="🕒" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> 12pm–8.30pm (Daily)</p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading" id="katsu-don">Katsu Don</h1>

<p>Katsu Don, which refers to Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl, is a staple for the Japanese. With the ever-growing Muslim community in Tokyo, there have been more Halal Katsu Don stores for all to try.&nbsp;</p>

<p>We’ve finalised the list with these three Halal-friendly restaurants that you’ll enjoy your fill at: <strong>Kimukatsu Hanare, NikoNiko Mazemen &amp; Curry, and Halal Japanese Yoshi’s Passion.&nbsp;</strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">13. Kimukatsu Hanare </h2>

<p><strong>Kimukatsu</strong> offers a mix of non-Halal and Halal menu sets, so be sure to visit their <strong>Kimukatsu Hanare</strong> outlet since it&#8217;s the only one that offers their Halal Menu. Regardless of quality, you&#8217;ll be in for a real treat as their Halal and non-Halal menu provides the same level of quality within their dishes. <br><br>They’re known for their Halal layered cutlet that doesn’t use pork. However, their prices for the Halal Menu are not available online. So, based on their non-Halal branches’ menu, the <strong>Cutlet</strong> <strong>Set</strong> is approximately <strong>¥1,980 (~S$16).</strong></p>
