They just celebrated its 40th anniversary recently and it’s always nice to see one of our favourite childhood brands trying new things. The new pizza is available for takeaways and delivery until 14 July 2021.

This newest creation comes topped with a mix of spicy chicken chunks, egg, cucumber and ikan bilis. You know, just like the classic ingredient combination in a good, hearty plate of Nasi Lemak.

What’s more of interest on this brand new pizza is Pizza Hut’s house brand Sambal sauce. We all know Sambal chilli is what makes and breaks a Nasi Lemak so we’re looking forward to what Pizza Hut can do with their own version of this local classic.

Pizza Hut also lets you customise your toppings when you order through their website or app. You can choose to go for some extra toppings of sambal sauce and ikan bilis if you want it hotter or more crunchy.

To complement the Nasi Lemak Pizza, Pizza Hut has also added complementary new items based on Singapore classics. You can pair it with the fragrant Sambal Chicken or Prawn Pasta (from S$13.50 for takeaway and delivery), and addictive Spicy Chicken Pop (S$5.90).

What’s more, Nasi Lemak lovers wishing to try the new tasty pizza can enjoy 50% off all pizza flavours when they order two pizzas for delivery or one pizza for takeaway. The original price for a regular pan pizza is S$30.90.

This is not the first novelty item Pizza Hut has rolled out this year. One of their biggest talking points this year was the Bubble Tea Blossom Pizza, a bubble tea pizza with brown sugar milk tea sauce.

Of course, not forgetting their classic Durian Pizza last year, it’ll be interesting to see how Pizza Hut’s Nasi Lemak Pizza performs. More classic, comforting flavours in times like these? Yes, please we need it.
