In fact, I was recently planning to visit it when I found out that the restaurant is marking its first year of operations with a new menu. And after checking it out, I’m even more convinced that now is the perfect time to plan a dinner at Cavern Restaurant. Perhaps you should too!

New menu

When you visit Cavern Restaurant, you can expect a menu led by casual contemporary Western cuisine, mixed with Asian influences. The restaurant’s signature is hearth-grilled meat prepared over an open flame, so if you particularly love meat, you will probably enjoy yourself here.

Main highlights of the menu include the Jerk-Spiced Lamb Chop Pane (S$40) and the Cavern Spiced Chicken (S$32). The first is an iconic dish served with Jerusalem artichoke puree, potato cheese croquettes, and spiced pineapple, while the second is a whole spring chicken rubbed and marinated in house-blend spice, burnt lemon, and curry leaves. The chicken is then roasted until its skin reaches a perfect crisp.

For those looking for small bites or who want to start their meal with appetisers, the restaurant recommends its Fried Fish Tacos (S$18) and Salt & Pepper Squid (S$18). One promises spicy, tangy flavours with fried fish, mango strawberry salsa, and lime mayo. The other – addictive bites of deep-fried squid seasoned with salt, pepper, and curry leaf.

As always, a meal doesn’t feel complete without desserts. And at Cavern Restaurant, you can also look forward to sweet treats like What a Banana! (S$16) and Citrus Bomb (S$8). Whether you prefer a more indulgent banana chutney or a lighter lemon granita, these options will leave you delighted.

New space

Like many of us, the Cavern Restaurant also believes in the phrase, “new year, new me”. Beyond a new menu, the restaurant also now has a new after-dark arrival experience through what it calls the Oculus. This dramatic entrance is accessible after 6.30pm each day, adding even more to the already immersive dining experience.

Beyond the entrance, you will step into a space inspired by the Mulu Caves of Sarawak, filled with crystalline lights that mimic natural cave droplets.

We had two more drinks from the Matcha Cheese Cloud line. The Bamboo Oolong Milk Tea (S$6.90) is blended with light milk and topped with silky matcha cheese cream, while the Jasmine Milk Tea (S$6.90) uses a premium Jasmine tea base layered with fragrant matcha cream cheese.

We also tried the Classic Thai Tea and Matcha Gelato. A delightful pairing where the subtle saltiness of the Thai Tea tempers the gelato’s sweetness, resulting in a well-balanced salty-sweet flavour that’s not overly sweet.

GOPIZZA, the #1 Fast Pizza brand from Korea, is now officially Halal-certified, making it easier for everyone to enjoy their delicious Korean-style pizzas, sides, and more with family and friends.

They are currently running their popular 2nd pizza at just $0.60 promotion, which applies to all flavours, regular and large. It will be available for dine-in, takeaway, Grab, and FoodPanda.

They also launched a new local-inspired flavour — Chicken Satay Pizza (S$25.90 for regular, S$35.90 for large). Topped with generous satay chunks, fresh Japanese cucumbers, and onion slices for that refreshing crunch and balance to the heavy, sweet satay sauce. 

For our second pizza, we tried their Chicken Buldak Pizza, which had a spicy kick to it. Topped with chunky chicken, onion, corn, and cheese on a spicy fire cream base, it is perfectly fiery. For all the spice lovers, this is the one flavour you should definitely consider. 

Wings and Drumlets 

Choose from flavours such as Hot & Spicy, Honey Butter, Original, Yangnyum, and Soy Garlic. For just S$13.90, you can get 8 pieces, and S$20.90 for 12 pieces. 

We tried the classic Yangnyum and Soy Garlic flavour. The chicken was well marinated and fried to perfection. Even with the savoury glaze, the chicken retain its crispy exterior and was rather tender inside. Overall, this was definitely a dish we enjoyed a lot.

Other items we tried were the Seoul Tteokbokki (S$18.90) and Kimchi Mandu (S$9.90 for 5pcs). The chewy rice cakes were simmered in rich tteokbokki sauce, topped with eomuk fries for extra flavour and crunch. The sauce was pretty spicy and we found the tteokbokki to be on the chewier side.

Meanwhile, the mandus were generously filled with savoury kimchi and seasoned ingredients, a great side dish to go for.

As previously revealed, the Legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo, recognisable by its majestic, sun-like mane, serves as the store’s new symbol Pokémon. Featured on the official logo and standing proudly at the store’s façade alongside Pikachu, Solgaleo’s introduction has been met with warm anticipation from Pokémon fans both locally and internationally. 

Interior 

Furthermore, the full splendour of the store’s new interior is now ready to be unveiled. Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s unique culture and heritage, the revitalised space features beautifully designed shelves and interior elements that pay tribute to traditional architecture and design.

Merchandise

Their signature brunch menu items include Luncheon Bun (S$24), made with house-made luncheon meat, omelette, cheddar, and tamarind tomato jam, served with tater tots. They also took a decadent take on our beloved local breakfast. Their Kaya, Bacon & Eggs (S$22) pairs Kaya French toast with crispy bacon, fried egg, and Okinawa black sugar caramel.

Other unique mains include Bak Chor & Bacon Udon (S$28), a bacon Bolognese udon topped with braised mushrooms and pork. For something refreshing, try their “Rojak” Salad (S$22), which is tossed with grilled pineapple, shredded cabbage, cucumbers, apple slices, tempeh, crushed peanuts, and crispy fritters.

Vegetarian options are also available! Park Side offer dishes like Woodland Pesto (S$24), Botanical Bowl (S$24), and Garden Burger (S$24), which features a house-made veggie patty paired with mango chutney, mint, dill and coriander.

Drinks

Other than mains, Park Side’s drinks menu is also something to look forward to. They range from coffee and slushies to cocktails and wines. Their signatures include Taro Cloud Genmaicha (S$9) and Sweet After Rain (S$9), which combine the fragrant sweetness of Gula Melaka and pandan sea salt cream with cold brew coffee. 

Desserts

Making its debut this year is Chef’s Grill, Sentosa GrillFest’s first-ever eight-course omakase-inspired style beachfront dining experience, created in collaboration with SCA. Held in an air-conditioned tent with premium chinaware, the format gives diners a close look at live-fire techniques from a curated roster of Singapore chefs. They will also serve as the closing platform for the inaugural Singapore Chef Festival.

Marketplace by Indoguna 

This year’s edition places a sharper focus on local sourcing and sustainable produce, with a curated selection of ingredients that champion responsible food choices without compromising on quality. Returning in an elevated format this year is Marketplace, developed in collaboration with Indoguna, a leading premium food importer and distributor in Singapore.

Sunset Lounge by Asahi 

As the sun dips below the horizon, the Sunset Lounge by Asahi sets the scene for golden hour gatherings by the sea. Guests can ease into the evening at this dedicated beachfront bar experience. It will be positioned as a standalone wind-down spot between the afternoon and evening sessions with DJ programming and live band performances.

Craft’B, known for its NETFLIX & AFN featured Steak & Fries (S$22), returns alongside Slurp Your Oysters, serving freshly shucked oysters sourced directly from Murotsu Bay in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. 

Also back is DAMN, winner of Sentosa GrillFest’s People’s Choice Award in 2025, bringing their sold-out Dry Aged Beef Burger (S$25) and Ribeye Skewer (S$26).

Joining them are new additions such as My Cow Bae, known for their Signature Shio Kombu Beef Cubes (S$22).

International Grills takes guests on a culinary journey across the globe, from Korean BBQ at Hanok Kimchi and Japanese flame-torched Mentaiko Wagyu Beef bowls at Gyushi, to the bold smoky flavours of BBQ Box. 

Joining them this year is Umi Matsuri, bringing the Japanese art of robatayaki grilling to the beachfront with menu items such as King Tiger Prawns (S$25). 

Another new entrant is 8 Degree Taiwanese Bistro, serving iconic Taiwanese night market classic 大肠包小肠 (Taiwan sausage with sticky rice). 

ChillBro (冷仔) rounds off the meal with Campfire Nanas (S$15) — grilled banana topped with chocolate ice cream and chocolate sauce. 

Perched along the waterfront, Beachside Grills serves up open-flame cooking against the backdrop of Siloso Beach. New this year is Smokin’ Joe, bringing elevated options with their Australian Wagyu ribeye.

Returning favourites include Jett BBQ, beloved for its dinosaur ribs, and Smok Hous, known for its Texas-style barbecue.

Entertainment 

ZIP4, a Korean jazz band, will kick off on the first Sunday (26 July 2026) and will take the stage at 7pm in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Singapore.

Sustainability

For the first time, the air-conditioned Chef’s Grill pavilion and beachfront festival lighting will be powered by battery and solar energy, reducing the festival’s reliance on conventional power sources and reducing its carbon footprint. 

Continuing commitments include the reduction of single-use disposables across the festival grounds, with all vendors required to use compostable packaging and cutlery in line with  Sentosa’s Disposables Policy.  

Accessibility 

Sentosa GrillFest continues to provide dedicated beach tracks for wheelchair users and families with strollers, with priority seating available for guests with mobility needs throughout the festival grounds.

Haidilao launches its first collaboration with MILO in Singapore, bringing together two local favourites. Available islandwide from 1 July 2026 to 30 September 2026 across all Haidilao Singapore outlets. 

MILO, a chocolate malt energy drink produced by Nestlé, was first introduced in 1934 in Australia and is now enjoyed in more than 40 countries and regions worldwide. It is especially popular across Asia, Africa, and Latin America — a familiar household staple in Singapore and Malaysia, often regarded as a “national drink” across generations.

Closely associated with childhood memories, school canteen moments, and the familiar sight of MILO vans and hot chocolate malt drinks shared in everyday life, MILO has become part of the collective growing-up experience for many in Singapore. This year marks MILO’s 76th anniversary. Coinciding with Singapore’s 61st National Day season, the collaboration brings together familiar local favourites and everyday moments in a refreshed dining experience across Haidilao Singapore outlets, reinterpreting nostalgia through shared flavours and dining experiences 

Limited-Time MILO Collaboration Set Menus

To mark the collaboration, Haidilao will introduce two limited-time 2-person set menus across all outlets in Singapore, offering diners a shared hotpot experience paired with MILO-inspired items and exclusive collectables. Both set menus are built around Haidilao’s signature four-grid hotpot, allowing diners to customise soup bases while enjoying a selection of pork, beef, seafood, a vegetable platter, and selected Haidilao favourites.

The MILO Double Energy Weekday Set ($59.90++) includes 1 chocolate lava cake (Made with MILO), while the MILO Energy Boost All-Week Set ($98++) includes 2 chocolate lava cakes (Made with MILO). The warm dessert features a rich chocolate malt centre inspired by MILO’s signature flavour — a great sweet finish to the savoury hotpot dining experience.

Weekday Set: Before 6pm on weekdays

All-Week Set: Monday to Thursday (All Day), weekends before 5pm

Both set menus will also include 2 cups of Iced MILO beverage, a MILO gift bag with 5 sachets of MILO 3-in-1 ACTIV-GO, and 1 exclusive MILO x Xiaolaolao plushie.
