<p><strong>Lilies, daisies, roses, baby breaths</strong>, and <strong>asters</strong> are just some <a href="https://confirmgood.com/post/tomacado-paragon/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">flowers</a> that we absolutely adore. But me? I’ve only ever had my eyes on <strong>sunflowers</strong>. Maybe it&#8217;s the bright, <strong>bold</strong> <strong>colours</strong> or the <a href="https://confirmgood.com/post/international-coffee-day/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>happy</strong></a> <strong>energy</strong> it emits, but they’ve always been my flowers. </p>

<p>It’s <strong>delicate</strong> and difficult to grow them in <strong>tropical</strong> <a href="https://confirmgood.com/post/tiong-bahru-bakery-eng-hoon-street/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Singapore</strong></a>, so I’ve learnt to cherish every single stalk and bouquet I’ve ever received. So you can probably imagine my <strong>excitement</strong> when I found out about<strong> Gardens by the Bay’s</strong> latest floral theme—<strong>Sunflower Surprise</strong>! </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-197-819x1024.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-102951" style="width:800px" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-197-819x1024.jpeg 819w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-197-240x300.jpeg 240w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-197-768x960.jpeg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-197-585x731.jpeg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-197.jpeg 864w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: @gardensbythebay/Instagram</figcaption></figure>

<p>Tucked away inside the chilly and cool <strong>Flower Dome</strong>, surrounded by locals and tourists, is where you’ll find yourself completely mesmerised by an <strong>ocean</strong> of <strong>golden petals</strong> and <strong>soft</strong> <strong>brown disc florets</strong>. From <strong>22 October 2025 to 16 November 2025, </strong>the Sunflower Surprise exhibition will be in full swing and trust me when I say, this is an exhibition you definitely won’t want to miss.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Take a <strong>stroll</strong> through the sunflower fields, breathe in the <strong>floral</strong> air, and snap some seriously <strong>photoworthy</strong> <strong>selfies</strong> with your favourite people.&nbsp;</p>

<p>And here’s the fun part— not all sunflowers are yellow! Look closely and you’ll spot them in <strong>shades</strong> of deep maroon, fiery orange, soft purple, and even chocolate brown. I was surprised to learn that there are actually tons of <strong>species</strong> and every sunflower is <strong>different</strong> in its own <strong>special</strong> kind of way.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="820" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-199-820x1024.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-102953" style="width:800px" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-199-820x1024.jpeg 820w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-199-240x300.jpeg 240w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-199-768x959.jpeg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-199-585x731.jpeg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-199.jpeg 1092w" sizes="(max-width: 820px) 100vw, 820px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: @gardensbythebay/Instagram</figcaption></figure>

<p>One of the coolest things about this whole exhibition is that it’s <strong>inspired</strong> by the <strong>vibrant</strong> city of <strong>Jaipur, India</strong>, where you’ll get to relish in the <strong>Indian</strong> <strong>culture</strong> itself. With <strong>towering</strong> pink <strong>monuments</strong> and even an <strong>elephant</strong> statue, the exhibition makes you feel as if you’ve been <strong>transported</strong> to Jaipur instead of Singapore.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Since the theme draws from Jaipur’s rich cultural history, the space is filled with iconic monuments that pay homage to India’s <strong>Pink City</strong>. Two standouts instantly caught my eye, which were the majestic <strong>Amer Fort Courtyard </strong>and the historical <strong>Hawa Mahal</strong>.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img decoding="async" width="818" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-196-818x1024.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-102950" style="width:801px" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-196-818x1024.jpeg 818w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-196-240x300.jpeg 240w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-196-768x961.jpeg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-196-585x732.jpeg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-196.jpeg 863w" sizes="(max-width: 818px) 100vw, 818px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: @gardensbythebay/Instagram</figcaption></figure>

<p>The Amer Fort Courtyard doubles up as the <strong>administrative</strong> seat and a <strong>pleasure</strong> <strong>palace</strong> during the <strong>Kachwaha </strong>dynasty, which is a cool, fun fact that not many people are aware of.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Its <strong>soft</strong> <strong>pastel</strong> yellow walls, <strong>shimmering</strong> blue water, and <strong>vintage</strong> <strong>Persian </strong>wheels make the setup feel so <strong>dreamy</strong>, as if you’re experiencing the real deal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Then there’s the Hawa Mahal, towering proudly at <strong>5 metres high</strong> and <strong>10 metres wide</strong>. That’s equivalent to <strong>four</strong> <strong>adults</strong> standing on top of each other!&nbsp;</p>

<p>Often called the <strong>Palace of Winds</strong>, the original monument sits in Jaipur’s Old City, but this re-creation brings a slice of royal grandeur right here to Gardens by the Bay.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="818" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-198-818x1024.jpeg" alt="" class="wp-image-102952" style="width:800px" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-198-818x1024.jpeg 818w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-198-240x300.jpeg 240w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-198-768x961.jpeg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-198-585x732.jpeg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/image-198.jpeg 863w" sizes="(max-width: 818px) 100vw, 818px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: @gardensbythebay/Instagram</figcaption></figure>

<p>Tickets start from just <strong>S$12 </strong>for adults, and <strong>S$8</strong> for <strong>seniors</strong> and <strong>kids,</strong> so it’s a pretty sweet deal if you’re planning to check out the sunflower display. But if you’re already there, you might as well go all out and explore both the Flower Dome and the <strong>Cloud Forest</strong>. The tickets are <strong>S$34</strong> for adults, and <strong>S$29</strong> for both <strong>seniors</strong> and <strong>kids</strong>. </p>

<p>If you’re a <strong>tourist</strong> who eagerly wants to soak up the full Gardens by the Bay experience and share the magic with your travel companions, the tickets will be  <strong>SS$46</strong> for adults, and <strong>S$32</strong> for children. You may find out more about the ticket details and bundle options on their website <a href="https://www.gardensbythebay.com.sg/en/things-to-do/calendar-of-events/sunflower-surprise-2025.html?utm_source=Google&amp;utm_medium=SEM&amp;utm_campaign=FIT2025&amp;utm_term=ad-sitelink&amp;utm_content=sg-event-ss&amp;gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=22749958730&amp;gbraid=0AAAAAom9N53ZzJ6RdBQvbAMcpdKTYQWWC&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwmYzIBhC6ARIsAHA3IkQLQtd7B2uNt4Xoym2IHfdWE7T7QAVdZgI9W1zm3N4MXqrmUBSeEi8aAk_jEALw_wcB#accordions-4ebf01da72-item-24c18785cd" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here</a>. </p>

<p>I’ve already snagged my tickets and planned my outfit for the day—guess I’ll be seeing you there too?</p>
