While we can’t quite teleport ourselves to the gorgeous resorts that offer this experience (hello, Chai Lai Orchid Resort in Chiang Mai), we can still get up close to wildlife anytime we wish. Especially since the Singapore Zoo has finally brought back its Breakfast in the Wild dining experience. 

Available on weekends and public holidays, Breakfast in the Wild lets you tuck into a delicious meal at Ah Meng Restaurant within the rainforest zoo and meet their wildlife ambassadors and zookeepers. Enjoy a lovely local and international breakfast spread thoughtfully prepared by in-house chefs as the zookeepers regale you with tales about the animals – and get to meet their animal ambassadors too!

Take photos with the Tamandua, Coatimundi, Macaw and Orangutans in this quaint dining experience (animal appearances subject to weather and animal conditions), and kick back with a cup of Indonesian Owa Coffee.

Breakfast begins at 9am to 10.30am, while the animal appearances will happen from 9.30am to 10am. 

And do note that if you’re planning to experience Breakfast in the Wild, it’s priced at $45 for adults and $35 for children aged 6 to 12. You will need a separate admission ticket to the Singapore Zoo as well, and Friends of Wildlife or Friends of Wildlife Plus members can enjoy 20% off Breakfast in the Wild.
