Beloved homegrown bakery-bar Yeastside has joined the party with their sourdough magic. Their all-day menu features freshly baked sourdough pizzas, from classics like the Queen Margherita (S$18) and Hold My Salami (S$23) to bold standouts such as the Foursome with Honey (S$21), a rich, four-cheese pizza with a sweet honey drizzle.

During lunchtime, grab one of their housemade focaccia sandwiches. Chunky crab meets crispy hash brown in the Mr Crabs (S$18). There are also comforting sides, such as Crispy Mid Wings (S$16) and Mentaiko Mac & Cheese (S$19).

Wash it all down with a rotating selection of craft beers from local breweries, natural wines, specialty coffee, matcha, and kombucha.

Riders’ Lounge is a vinyl lover’s dream — tune in at the Sound & Vinyl Bar, featuring a custom ADA (Analogue–Digital–Analogue) chain routed through 1990s JBL cinema speakers. 

The lounge’s vinyl collection is specially curated by Rupert, boasting over 500 records that span soul, hip-hop, funk, jazz, disco, and city pop. You can even browse and purchase these records, with prices starting from just S$5.

The first thing that stands out are the shelves of vinyl records — a sight that you definitely would not anticipate seeing in a coffee shop. Apart from being an eatery, the shop also sells vinyl records, turntables, and speakers. 

It might seem odd at first, but it makes sense when you think about it. Vinyl records are a thing of the past that’s becoming increasingly popular nowadays, and this coffee shop is a space where old meets new. 

By day, the shop serves both local classics such as Braised Pork with Rice (S$6.80) and Prawn Noodle Soup (S$7.80), and Western options such as Rustico Pork Chop (S$12.80) and Sabroso Chicken Chop (S$12.80).

They also offer a range of traditional toasts, and you can’t go wrong with the classic Kaya Butter (S$2.50). And in true old-school fashion, the cafe uses salted butter to create the familiar taste of the good ol’ days. 

Otherwise, for something more unique, go for the Egg Mayo Truffle Spread (S$4), Avocado Spread (S$4), or Monkey Butter (S$3), a spread made from bananas, coconut, and pineapple. 

By night, however, the eatery transforms into a full-fledged bar. From 5pm onwards, this cosy space becomes the perfect place to chill with your friends and grab a drink or two. Apart from beers, cocktails, and a range of alcoholic beverages, they also serve your typical bar grub. If you’re feeling peckish, tuck into some Pizza (S$18), Cart Noodles (S$4.80), or Spam Fries (S$10).

Whether you’re looking to enjoy a traditional breakfast, sip on a cocktail, or pick up a new vinyl record, Shun Cheng is somewhere you’d definitely want to check out.
