Opened in a coffee shop in Bishan Street 11, Mr Egg Fried Rice is helmed by 47-year-old Chef Eric Yam, who’s an Ipoh-born Singaporean citizen, and has also worked as a dim sum chef at restaurants like Conrad Centennial Singapore’s Golden Peony and Orchard Hotel Singapore’s Hua Ting Restaurant.

Prices at start from just S$4, if you’re opting for their basic Egg Fried Rice. Toppings such as pork chop, luncheon meat, prawns, salmon, and chicken chop are available at an added cost. There are also other iterations of fried rice in the series such as the Tobiko Fried Rice (S$5), Tom Yum Fried Rice (S$5), and XO Scallop Fried Rice (S$5.50) that are also available with the aforementioned toppings.
