<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I don&#8217;t typically crave <em>yong tau foo</em> (YTF) in the wee hours of the night, but it certainly doesn&#8217;t hurt to have that option! </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And if you&#8217;re in the mood for a hearty supper that&#8217;s not just the usual <a href="https://confirmgood.com/post/hotbox-sg-samyang-prata-teban-gardens/">prata</a>, <a href="https://confirmgood.com/post/best-hotpot-restaurants-singapore/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">hotpot</a>, or <a href="https://confirmgood.com/post/best-lok-lok-singapore/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><em>lok lok </em></a>(including those in <a href="https://confirmgood.com/post/lok-lok-jb/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Johor Bahru</a>), here&#8217;s a popular <strong>halal</strong><em><strong> </strong></em>YTF spot you <em>need </em>to check out ASAP. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="960" height="720" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/susi-oktafia-dou-2-fb.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-61698" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/susi-oktafia-dou-2-fb.jpg 960w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/susi-oktafia-dou-2-fb-300x225.jpg 300w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/susi-oktafia-dou-2-fb-768x576.jpg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/susi-oktafia-dou-2-fb-520x390.jpg 520w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/susi-oktafia-dou-2-fb-585x439.jpg 585w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /><figcaption>Photo: Susi Oktafia via Halal Cafe &amp; Restaurants in Singapore/facebook</figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The sister brand to Hakka-style <em>yong tau foo </em>chain Meixi&#8217;s Kitchen, <strong>Dou Yong Tau Foo</strong>, has <strong>five different outlets</strong> scattered around the island, so you won&#8217;t have to travel <em>too </em>far for your YTF fix! </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The best part? Four out of the five outlets are <strong>open 24 hours</strong>. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-819x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-61700" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-240x300.jpg 240w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-768x960.jpg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-1229x1536.jpg 1229w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-1170x1463.jpg 1170w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-312x390.jpg 312w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3-585x731.jpg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-3.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /><figcaption>Photo: @dou_yongtaufoo/instagram</figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Diners must purchase a minimum of <strong>six items (from S$4.80)</strong>, inclusive of five pieces of YTF and one serving of rice or noodles.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Take your pick from the extensive buffet-style selection of fresh ingredients, which include the likes of vegetables, stuffed chillies, beancurd, and fish paste, all priced at<strong> S$0.80 each (a la carte)</strong>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-2-819x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-61702" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-2-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-2-240x300.jpg 240w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-2-768x960.jpg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-2-312x390.jpg 312w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-2-585x731.jpg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/dou_yongtaufoo-2.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /><figcaption>Photo: @dou_yongtaufoo/instagram</figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can opt to enjoy your<em> yong tau foo</em> <strong>dry </strong>(ask for the ingredients to be deep-fried), with lashings of sweet sauce and chilli, or in a comforting <strong>soup</strong>. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Most tend to go for the signature <strong>Laksa (S$5.80)</strong>, which boasts a rich, aromatic, and mildly spicy broth. Otherwise, the fiery <strong>Mala (S$5.80)</strong> and<strong> Tom Yum (S$5.80) </strong>renditions are equally tantalising. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-1024x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-61704" srcset="https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-300x300.jpg 300w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-150x150.jpg 150w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-768x768.jpg 768w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-70x70.jpg 70w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-1170x1170.jpg 1170w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-390x390.jpg 390w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz-585x585.jpg 585w, https://confirmgood.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/oho_yumz.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Photo: @oho_yumz/instagram</figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Out of the five locations, the <strong>Tampines </strong>outlet is the only one that doesn&#8217;t operate round the clock, so you&#8217;re better off heading to <strong>Ang Mo Kio</strong>,<strong> Jurong West</strong>, <strong>Woodlands</strong>, or<strong> Bukit Panjang </strong>for late-night (or early-morning) YTF.</p>
