Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre may be popular with diners seeking both traditional French classics and local delights, but it’s the recently launched The Ultimate Racines Buffet Brunch that truly takes the cake.

Available on Saturdays from 12.30pm–3pm, this all-you-can-eat buffet brunch boasts a mouthwatering selection of seafood on ice, local favourites, and decadent desserts.

As with most fancy buffet spreads, you’ve got to load up Freshly Shucked Oysters, Boston Lobsters, and Snow Crab Legs, before hitting up the carving station for Classic Suckling Pig Stuffed with Glutinous Rice and Waxed Meat and Chargrilled Australian Ribeye.

But that’s not all, as you’ll also get to indulge in Asian delights like Singapore Chilli Crab, Hong Kong Style Seafood Boat Congee with Baby Abalone, Shredded Scallops & Crabmeat, Wok-Fried Butter King Prawns, and Roasted Pipa Sesame Duck with Plum Sauce.

The Western selection is equally enticing, with heavy hitters like Duck Leg Confit, Confit Salmon served with Butter Blinis, Roasted French Poulet with Wine Sauce, and Pepper & Mint Gazed Lamb Spare Ribs. All the good stuff.

There’s always room for dessert, especially if they’re sporting locally-inspired flavours but with French techniques — think Neslo Éclair, Milo Dinosaur Cake, Bandung Macarons, Rambutan Strawberry Tart, and Jackfruit Crème Brûlée.

Top it all off with freshly-made Croffles, that you can pair with Strawberry Pate a Bombe (a type of mousse), Teh Tarik Gelato, and more.

This sumptuous buffet brunch is priced at S$118 per adult, but DBS and OCBC cardholders are in luck, as they’ll get to enjoy 1-for-1 on the buffet and fork out just S$59++ each for a limited time only!

Don’t forget to hit up the Live Station for Nonya Laksa with Rich Coconut Broth, Vietnamese Beef Pho, or Seafood “Pao Fan”, before tucking into a rotating menu of hot dishes like Spicy Mala Baby Lobster with Black Fungus and Coriander, Wok Fried Crayfish in Rendang Spice, and Assam Pork Curry with Pineapple.

Last but not least, you’ll also get to indulge in sweet treats like Durian Cream Puff, Thai Milk Tea Cake, Sago Gula Melaka, and assorted Ice Cream.

This dinner buffet is priced at S$68++ per adult, which means you’ll only need to fork out S$34++ after the promo! If that isn’t considered value-for-money, I don’t know what is.
