Do Horlicks cupcakes and laksa rigatoni sound good to you? There’s only one right answer!

From viral pop-up Shio & Sato to halal-certified Fluff Bakery, here are six exclusive TikTok #SG60 Food Collaborations for a burst of modernised local flavour.

kwhid and h0mec4fe x Fluff Bakery

As one of the OGs of Singapore’s artisanal cupcake scene, the halal-certified, Muslim-owned Fluff Bakery is known for its rotating menu of over 100 cupcake options, many inspired by classic Malay flavours with a modern twist.

For this collab, Khalil (@kwhid) and Jia Xin (@h0mec4fe) have teamed up to present a collection of nostalgic desserts inspired by family — Khalil’s homage to his mother’s Malay heritage, and Jia Xin’s mother-daughter baking sessions.

Savoury picks include the Laksa Flatbread (S$6.50), where laksa paste, potatoes, and tau pok are perched atop fresh-baked bread. Liu Sha Bao lovers, don’t miss the Salted Egg Lava Doughnut (S$4.50) filled with molten salted egg.

If you’re craving cupcakes instead, you’ll get a blast to the past with the Coffee Salted Gula Melaka Cupcake (S$4.50) and Horlicks Nestum Cupcake (S$4.50). 

And because it’s currently hotter than your air fryer, try the Kaya Butter Toast Gelato (S$6.50), a brown butter gelato swirled with kaya and crunchy croutons. Not your thing? The Fluff team recommends the Iced Limau and Bunga Kantan Sorbet (S$6.50), a refreshing mix of torch ginger and zesty lime.

Beloved dessert brand Rise Bakehouse just opened its newest outlet, Rise Bakehouse Heritage, in the heart of Chinatown. With Peranakan motifs, their menu spotlights local flavours and heritage. 

Known for his hearty, home-style recipes, Daren (@thepantryboy) is bringing his take on a local-Western mashup with the Seafood Laksa Rigatoni (S$23.90). 

Simmered with seafood and laksa paste, this is essentially your ultimate comfort bowl of laksa… if it were also an al dente rigatoni.

zatayayummy x Pralet

Tucked away in Tiong Bahru, Pralet serves up sourdough sandwiches, fluffy doughnuts, cookies, and other baked goodies. You’ll probably recognise their signature square sourdough doughnuts, crafted using a 14-year-old starter.

This team-up bloomed from a friendship between Pralet founder Tim and Zong Han (@zatayayummy), whose culinary journey was inspired by his mother’s Nyonya kueh and home-baked cakes.

It’s a celebration of iconic Singaporean flavours in the Laksa Doughnut (S$4.40), with laksa aioli, hae bee, shredded cured egg yolks, and deep-fried laksa leaves.

The Teh Tarik Dinosaur Doughnut (S$4) is its sweet companion, tasting exactly like the rich local drink with a generous dusting of Horlicks powder for a malty finish.

Good things must share, so get both doughnuts in a set at a discounted price of S$8.

aflouryspace x Shio & Sato

Run by MasterChef Singapore Season 1 runner-up Genevieve Lee, Shio & Sato is a viral pop-up specialising in shio pans. 

Loved for her calm, easy-to-follow home baking videos, Shuang Yu (@aflouryspace) is joining the mix with a Spiced Curry Potato Shio Pan (S$5.50). It’s packed with spicy potatoes with a blend of two curry powders and shrimp chilli.

This bun is a play on the humble curry puff, inspired by her father’s signature curry pork dish (her family owned a zichar stall).

Lou Shang needs no introduction: This nostalgia-themed cafe and speakeasy is literally hidden behind a lift door, giving customers a simple yet comforting dining experience with local flavours.

Josiah (@sgculturedboi) is here with the Cultured Lunch Box (S$18.90), a Teochew-Cantonese fusion featuring his own line of traditional sauces, which are on sale via TikTok Shop.

You’ll find Fermented Beancurd Crispy Chicken Wings, Olive Vegetable Minced Pork Pasta, Tea Braised Onsen Egg, and Cold Tofu with Puning Bean Sauce in this unsuspecting bento. There’s also the option to add on a Duck Shit Oolong Tea for S$5 (don’t let the name scare you).

ianthioo x Amacha

If you’re a bubble tea fanatic, you might as well make sure it’s healthy — Amacha ensures that with its handcrafted milk tea, boosted by their knowledge of TCM wellness.

Who’s the cutest duo in our local TikTok community? Without a doubt, it’s Ian (@ianthioo) and his grandmother, Madam Ong. Together, they’ve created a spin on Mdm Ong’s favourite drink from her childhood to give you two special drinks.

For my lactose-intolerant girlies, try the Damp Drainer 祛濕茶 (Medium: S$5.90, Large: S$6.90), a barley-based herbal brew simmered with pandan and lemongrass.

There’s also the Bloat Begone 祛濕奶茶 (Medium: S$6.90, Large: S$7.90), a slow-brewed, milky herbal drink.

Do note that both drinks have a draining effect that isn’t recommended for pregnant mothers, as well as those with frequent thirst or dry stools (Amacha really doesn’t play around when it comes to TCM).
