You read that right! Golden Village is letting you watch some of your favourite movies for just S$5, and no, you don’t need to flash your student card or pioneer generation card! This means that anyone and everyone can enjoy the movie for just S$5 — no more complaining that movie tickets are expensive.

The promotion is taking place from now until 21 June 2024 and is only applicable to selected movies and available on selected dates. The S$5 deal is also only available at these six Golden Village cinemas — GV Funan, GV Grand, GV Katong, GV Tiong Bahru, GV Bedok and GV Cineleisure.

The movie list for this promo is pretty impressive with the likes of Barbie, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie and Trolls Band Together.

If you haven’t watched the incredible Barbie movie, now’s your chance! Barbie will be streaming from 18 to 20 June 2024, make sure to save the date and book your tickets then.

Meanwhile, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom will be streaming on 18, 19 and 21 June. Since it’s the school holidays, why not treat your little ones to a movie date to watch Paw Patrol on 20 and 21 June, or Trolls Band Together on 18 to 21 June?

Be transported back to the 70’s at The Xperience in Clarke Quay from now till 31 July. 

You can expect to find the popular retro roller rink pop-up, Rollermania 4.0, which some of you may already be familiar with from the one at Plaza Singapura. 

However, the rink at CQ is much bigger this time as it spans over 4,000 sq ft alongside a “concrete jungle” theme. 

Tickets start from just S$28 for off-peak single ticket including equipment rental. Or you can just get the 60-day pass from S$95 (off-peak period) and S$99 (peak period) if you wanna stay active throughout the holidays.

If you’ve no plans to travel to Bali this June holidays 2024, here’s another way that you can still have a laid-back beach day with friends or families without breaking the bank.

For those who are planning a family day out, the small bites and sweet treats will be right up kids’ alley. You can’t go wrong with the Fluffy Pancakes (S$12++) or decadent Sinfully Good Chocolate Fudge Brownie (S$14++) served with salted caramel gelato.

Get ready for an action-packed adventure at Despicable Me 4 Mega Mission from now till 14 July (11am–9.30pm, daily) at Suntec City.

Put your relationship to the test this June holidays 2024 at LOST SG in GR.iD mall with five exhilarating 60-minutes escape rooms to choose from. 

Regardless of whether it’s your first time or if you’re a pro at solving mind puzzles, there are varying levels of difficulties to suit everyone’s skills. 

Alcatraz 2.0 — which is a prison-themed concept — really tests your teamwork as you’ll be separated from your members at the start. 

Alternatively, Castiglione 2.0 (the hardest room amongst the five) requires detail-oriented and physical strength on your part.
