Surprisingly, they have been rather quiet about their new releases. There’s not much publicity on any of their social media so far — they just decided to surprise us one day with these 2 cool new items.

You can find the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie and Lotus Biscoff McFlurry available on McDonald’s website now for order. They are also available at all McDonald’s outlets if you’re ever out during this stayhome period and pass by one.

The first of the two new McDonald’s items is the mouth-watering Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie (S$1.95). While it’s new on our menu but it was actually already introduced to our neighbours in Malaysia last year.

It’s supposedly a mix of mild cream cheese and a sweet-tangy blueberry filling. Almost a bit like the classic blueberry cheesecake combination.

A pretty unique new pie compared to the other varieties McDonald’s usually roll out in Singapore. Two flavours in one? This gotta be interesting. It reminds us of the decade Chocobanana Pie that they released two years back.

Other than the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie, the other new item is a Lotus Biscoff McFlurry (S$3.40) which McDonald’s had already introduced to some places in Europe.

But we all know how much Singaporeans love Biscoff cookies in everything, so this was a match made in heaven. Sometimes Biscoff blackout brownies, cheesecakes, and bread just aren’t enough.

If you ever thought of substituting the Oreo in McFlurry’s out for Biscoff crumbs, this was created for you.

Let’s be honest, not everyone likes Oreo’s chocolatey profile so it’s a good alternative for them. We’re sure many people would enjoy the fragrant Biscoff mixed into smooth vanilla ice cream. We’ve even heard of people DIY-ing their McFlurry’s with Biscoff.
