First opened in August 2023, Frosted by Fang transitioned from a booming home-based bakery to a takeaway-only store in the heart of Joo Seng Green. 

And with July’s Cloud just a few steps away, the residents here have certainly won the lottery for good snacks and drinks.

The bakery is run by founder-slash-solo-baker Lee Su Fang and her mother, affectionately dubbed Mama Bee by her Instagram followers.

They keep things fun and fresh, with rotating monthly menus announced on Instagram. And the best part? Each item is affordable, starting from just S$4 (because everyone deserves a sweet treat).

This month, they’ve launched a fresh lineup including a Pulut Hitam Swiss Roll (S$9), Double Chocolate Hazelnut Passionfruit Cookie (S$4), and Oolong Strawberry Coconut Mochi Doughnut (S$4).

Their names may be a mouthful, but we guarantee your mouth will be happy.

Classics like the Lemon Blueberry Yoghurt Loaf (S$4.50) and Classic Dark Chocolate Brownie (S$5) will also be there.

Of course, one of their highly raved-about creations is the chewy mochi cake, and it’s available this month as a Matcha & Coconut Mochi Cake (S$4.50).

Unfortunately, it seems that I’ve lost track of time, and August is already drawing to a close. Not to worry, because Fang will be releasing September’s exclusive list of bakes soon.

In recent months, the humble bakery has also launched its matcha menu, with new flavours every month. Each cup is hand-whisked by matcha enthusiast Mary, also known as @foodeatsmary on Instagram.

This August, make a beeline for the Passionfruit Matcha Fizz (S$7). Of course, if you want a good ol’ matcha, get the unsweetened Matcha (S$6) or Matcha Latte (S$6.50) instead.

Do note that payment is only available via PayNow or cash. They’ve also been known to sell out quickly during peak periods, so head over early to catch some of their small-batch goodies.

Beyond these, they also offer customised bake boxes for gifting, corporate events, Guo Da Li, baby one-month birthday celebrations, and more. 

With so many exciting new options monthly, there are so many new combinations for bakeboxes every few weeks. Which one are you eager to get first?
