Hong Kong has now joined the party by removing its COVID-19 hotel quarantine policy from next Monday, 26 September onwards! This means we can finally travel to Hong Kong and enjoy all the Pineapple Buns (Bolo Bao) and Hong Kong Milk Tea to our hearts’ desire.

This also means we are finally able to go back to Hong Kong Disneyland and indulge in all the nostalgic Disney magic from our childhood. Spot the hidden Mickeys as you stroll around, go on the Hyperspace Mountain ride, zoom down the tracks at Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, and catch the Paint the Night parade!

Disneyland aside, how about a visit to one of the most beautiful theme parks in the world? Take a trip down to the famous Ocean Park with its wonderful attractions to explore – such as the iconic Marine Land (see the dolphins!) and Amazing Asian Animals where you get to see giant pandas, red pandas and other Asian animals (no surprise there). We can’t skip mentioning the Arctic Fox Den at Polar Adventure either – with so much to do, you can easily spend a full day here.

And that’s not all. Had enough of the theme parks? Head over to Victoria Peak and take in spectacular views of the Hong Kong skyline and Victoria Harbour – board the Peak Tram and enjoy the sights via the tram ride or head to Lion’s Pavilion for even more stunning views.

Otherwise, as with most of our favourite destinations, go shopping at Mong Kok and hit up Ladies’ Market and Temple Street Night Market for starters – and don’t forget the incredible street food from curry fish balls and rice noodle rolls (cheung fun) to stinky tofu and more too!
