The annual event featuring the best of Japanese pop culture is back! Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2026 (AFASG26) will take place the weekend of 27–29 November 2026, bringing 3 days of music, entertainment, and fan experiences.
This year’s AFA is special because it is held in conjunction with SJ60, which commemorates 60 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan. As fans come together for a celebration of cultural connections and a shared passion for Japanese pop culture, there is much for them to look forward to!
Japanese music lovers are in for a treat, as over the 3 nights of AFASG26, there will be concerts featuring acclaimed Japanese music artistes. A special AFA Vocaloid Night featuring Hatsune Miku will also take place on Sunday, the 29th.
Fans of iconic musical duo YOASOBI can also visit a special booth at AFASG26 ahead of their upcoming concert in 2027. For the full concert line-up during the 3 days of AFASG26, click here.
Another highlight of AFASG26 is the Creators Hub located on the exhibition grounds. More than 100 independent creators will present a marketplace of original artwork, handmade collectables and unique merchandise. You’ll surely find something to bring home as a fan!
Talking about merchandise, there will also be themed booths by entertainment companies such as Toei Animation, TOHO Animation, Crunchyroll, and more! Look out for exclusive first-drop merchandise from beloved anime titles that will make their debut at AFASG26.
You can also spot fan-favourite characters such as a life-sized 7-metre Goku inflatable. Make sure to snap a Super Saiyan photo!
Fan experiences and activities are also aplenty in the AFA Exhibition Hall. For instance, visitors can try their hand at the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game, participate in Duels, and create their own Yu-Gi-Oh! Token Card.
Meet & Greet Sessions with Japanese voice actors and creators will also be scheduled each day. Fans who are interested can find booking information and packages here.
