If you have a furkid of your own, you’ve definitely been ambushed by the infamous puppy dog eyed look that your furbaby would always give you when you’re just about to leave the house. Coupled with the guilt of leaving your best friend behind, odds are, you’ve probably conceded defeat a couple of times and just opted to stay in to accompany them — or is that just me?
The next time you’re deciding on a brunch spot, here’s a new kid on the block for you to consider — Cafe Treatos located in Bugis. Not only is it really aesthetically pleasing and cosy, it’s also the perfect pet-friendly place to bring your doggos so that they can join in on the fun.
Even if you don’t have pets of your own, you’ll still be able to snuggle your stress away as there’s always a bunch of other dogs there (of course, you’d have to ask their owners for permission first!).
Occupying the space where the popular Twobakeboys cafe used to be, this new cafe is decked out with extremely TikTok and IG-worthy spaces like a tented platform with fairy lights. Here, you’ll find all sorts of quirky decor and furniture like barrels and bean bags for the little angels to play and pose with.
If you’re worried about the weather being too warm and stuffy, fret not! There are also air coolers placed thoughtfully inside the tent to make sure that everyone is cool and comfy.
Inside the cafe, you’ll be greeted by a warm, cosy and spacious interior great for winding down and catching up with your loved ones as you enjoy their yummy food offerings.
Start off with some of their tantalising sides like BBQ Chicken Wings (S$12), Mentaiko Fries (S$10) or Mozzarella Cheese Sticks (S$10). For those feeling more peckish, they also have mains like the Business Class Breakfast (S$18), Spaghetti Pescatora (S$20), Mentaiko Pasta (S$16) and more.
If you have a hankering for something sweet, definitely don’t miss out on their decadent Croffles (from S$9) and Belgian Waffles (from S$11) with smooth and creamy gelato.
For the furry little bundles of joy, there’s also a very substantial pet food menu with great offerings like Chicken Pate (from S$5) served with a vegetable of choice, Yam Beef Stew (S$6), Duck Stew with Pear (S$6), Chicken Meatballs with Winter Melon (S$6) and more.
To make things even better — there’s also no GST (that pesky 8%) and service charge here!
Ready for an unforgettable day out with the best four-legged companions? Head on down to Cafe Treatos now!
