Fans of Red Velvet, Girls’ Generation (SNSD), GOT7 and IVE would have seen their idols walking around with the CARLYN puffy quilted bags everyone seems to be talking about. CARLYN’s bags have skyrocketed in popularity ever since, selling out in Korea and even in Thailand.
Well, you’ll be glad to know that these viral bags are coming to Singapore, exclusively to The Editor’s Market on 9 August 2023! The popular Korean fashion label will be opening a futuristic pop-up at The Editor’s Market flagship store at Takashimaya, where you can find the beloved line-up of Soft, Cozy, Poing bags and more.
The collection is set to launch in store and online in two phases, with the first phase taking place on 9 August.
Phase 1 will include the following products:
- Soft Bag
- Soft Pouch
- Poing Bag
- Poing Pouch
- Jelly Bag
- Babe Bag
- Poing Scrunchie
- My Heart Keyring
These babies will be available in the Takashimaya flagship store at 10am, while the online release will only be launched at 9pm.
Phase 2 will see the Cozy, Hug and Weekender bags drop, although there are no details on the date of release at the time of writing. Prices of the bags range from S$69 to S$99.
Puffy bags have been all the rage ever since Jennie from BLACKPINK posted photos of herself sporting viral puffy bag from COS. Thanks to the “Jennie Effect”, COS bags are constantly sold out, and other idols have turned to CARLYN, which offers a wider range of designs and colours.
CARLYN’s iconic Soft, Cozy and Poing bag series are roomy, comfortable to the touch, and are easy to match with any outfit as they come in a variety of colours and sizes. They also carry metallic colours in the Poing series, famously advertised by Minnie of (G)-IDLE.
