Play with fluffy chow chows and samoyeds at Chow Cute Cafe located in Seletar Aerospace

by

There aren’t many (good) dog cafes in Singapore, so imagine my delight when I stumbled on Chow Cute Cafe — an adorable pet-friendly cafe that also has their own resident chow chows (eight of them!) and a very handsome samoyed

Located within Seletar Aerospace alongside several other pet-friendly cafes, Chow Cute Cafe distinguishes itself with its charming storefront decorated with a whimsical swing set and a variety of potted plants.

And of course, its chow chows, a chow chow and german shepherd mix, and samoyed

The space inside the cafe is also really clean and comfortable with concrete accents, big windows to let in natural light and potted plants.

There’s also a cosy space decorated with photo-worthy decor at the foot of the staircase (leading to where the doggos rest and snuggle with each other).

If you’d like a different vibe, there’s also an alfresco dining area outside where you can dine with your own pupper and enjoy the greenery.

For a pet cafe, they have a pretty substantial menu filled with pastas, sides, desserts, coffee  and many more. If you’re looking to eat cleaner, their Chowgetti Bolognese (S$20.90) is a healthier option that’ll fill you up without the guilt.

For those bringing their furry little pals, there’s also a special menu curated just for them including items like Chow Chic (S$16.90) prepared with chicken, chicken gizzard, a variety of vegetables as well as organic powders

There’s also other variants made with mutton, salmon and more if you’re looking to treat your fur baby.

Do note though, that the resident chow chows and samoyed will only be roaming outside during scheduled times at 11am and 4pm. If you’d like to interact with them outside of those times, you’ll have to go to them in their space instead.

It’s also recommended to go on the weekdays if you’d like to avoid the crowd as it tends to get very busy on the weekends!

The easiest way to feel happy is to spend some time with the cutest and fluffiest creatures on Earth, so head down ASAP and clock in some cuddle time with these babies!

Editor’s Note:

We enjoy animal-related establishments as it gives us the opportunity to interact with our favourite animals – and as animal lovers, we can’t ignore the ethical issues that revolve around this. From animal cafes to pet shops and catteries, there are a wide range of ethical concerns when it comes to animal welfare such as the treatment of the animals, or ethical breeding at pet shops and catteries.

As we share some really great animal cafes, pet shops and catteries to visit, we strongly urge everyone to treat these animals gently, and if you have seen signs that the animals are not being well taken care of, please highlight it to us immediately. If you are considering getting a pet, we would also encourage you to consider adoption options first if possible. There are plenty of lovable animals waiting for a good home at places like SoSD, Cat Welfare Society, and the SPCA!
