Thinking of ways to entertain the kids after Christmas? Switch up your December holiday plans and get up close with horses – you’ll have a neighin’ good time at EQUAL’s Christmas at the Stable event taking place from 26 to 29 December 2022. EQUAL is a non-profit organisation that specialises in animal-assisted therapy with their friendly horses, and they’re hosting their very first holiday bash!
The three-hour party will include a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility’s stables, where you can get to meet the herd of horses and learn more about the work they do there.
End off the year with some last-minute shopping at In Good Company’s pop-up stalls, where you can pick up unique handmade goods from a variety of local creators. Getting hungry? Beat the heat with some ice cream from Birds of Paradise and grab some pastries from Plain Vanilla Bakery, alongside other light snacks and sweet treats.
When you’re done exploring, unwind with the family and watch movies under the stars at the outdoor theatre by Cinewav. Classic Disney movies will be screened on the following dates: Soul on 26 December, The Greatest Showman on 27 December, Coco on 28 December and Mulan on 29 December.
