If you’re looking for great coffee, fresh bakes, and an aesthetic environment to enjoy them in, look no further than cloud at Duxton Hill.
The cloud-themed café opened in January 2023, and sports an interior worthy of its name. As you step into its doors, you’ll be greeted by a ceiling entirely decked out in wispy clouds — you’re bound to feel like you’re sipping a cup of hot coffee on a delightfully dreamy and rainy day (without actually running the risk of getting wet).
The industrial and minimalistic decor also makes for a charming space to sit back, relax, and enjoy laid-back conversations with friends (or to take IG-worthy photos to update your feed). Think concrete floors and wooden accents — you might even feel like you’re in an art exhibition.
Expect robust coffees like espresso (S$3), white (S$5.50) and mocha (S$6) on the menu — or if you’re a coffee connoisseur (or just feeling extra fancy), ask their baristas about their specialty filter coffee.
Wondering what bakes they have for the day? You’ll find a curated selection of fresh bakes beautifully displayed on the counter. Popular choices include their banana cake (S$5) and apple crumble (S$6), so be sure to check those out!
Given that Singaporeans absolutely love aesthetic cafés with good vibes, you can be sure that there’ll be a crowd during peak hours. The place has limited seating, so head down during off-peak if you can!
Do note that cloud is still in its soft launch stage, so they are likely to expand their menu in the future.
