Although we’re sticking to the lowkey end of countdown festivities this year no thanks to Ms ‘Rona, there are still (socially distant) activities that can enjoyed around the city. Marina Bay precinct will be home to a myriad of installations and light shows to catch if you’re not jetting out of the country just yet, and be sure to view the localised countdown fireworks from the comfort of your own home.
Localised countdown firework displays
While countdown fireworks won’t be set off from the main Marina Bay area again this year, localised displays will be happening across these 11 neighbourhoods instead:
- Bedok
- Bishan
- Boon Lay
- Geylang
- Hougang
- Jurong
- Nanyang
- Tampines
- Tiong Bahru
- Woodlands
