POV: You’re bored at home during the June holidays with no plans. If that sounds like you, it’s time to make a trip to the East — Our Tampines Hub is having a Dear Tampines festival from now till 7 June 2023, and it’s free for all to enter!
The festival will see life-sized inflatables, various sport tryouts, and even art exhibitions. It’s held at the Town Square and Festive Walk, so you can be sure that there’s plenty of space for everyone.
I don’t know about you, but I feel like I could never outgrow carnival rides. If you can relate, you’ll be delighted to know that there’ll be exhilarating rides like Ferris Wheel, Double Storey Horse Carousel, and so much more. Need I say more? Plus, you can even live our Wipe Out dreams on the giant playing arena and scale the highest inflatable.
For those of you who prefer to engage in water activities (especially given the weather these days), you can check out rides like the popular Bumper Boat. Just be sure to bring a change of clothes, because you’re defo not leaving dry!
Looking for something a little more relaxing? Dear Tampines Festival will also see weekend Jazz music concerts headlined by local celebrities like Dawn Wong, Jeremy Monteiro, and more. Enjoying the arts in Singapore doesn’t have to cost a bomb — admission to this concert on 3 June (5 to 10pm) at the Town Square is also free, and seats will be available on a first-come-first-serve walk in basis.
While the programme line-up for the upcoming weekend (3 & 4 June) has yet to be revealed, the festival’s opening weekend saw intriguing sports activities like Water Gun Battlefield, Teqball, and even VR Football. One can only guess what Our Tampines Hub has in store!
Ready a fun-filled festival?
