Have you been to the Chinese restaurant Dian Xiao Er recently? For me, they offer some of the best herbal roast ducks in Singapore at a reasonable price, especially when shared with a few others.
And recently, the restaurant chain has given diners even more compelling reasons to visit with its new S$9.90 sets. These prices are exclusive to Emerald Members at Dian Xiao Er, but considering membership costs just S$9.90 a year, it is pretty value-for-money.
Exclusive Membership Perks
To become an Emerald Member, you have to purchase the membership via the Dian Xiao Er app or website. This membership has to be renewed yearly but comes with benefits such as a daily free drink and members’ prices for certain dishes.
New $9.90 Meals
One dish that is specially discounted for Emerald Members is the Claypot Sliced Fish Curry (S$9.90, U.P. S$19.80). For half its usual price, you get a bubbling hot claypot filled with tender fish slices and more, soaked in Dian Xiao Er’s fragrant curry.
This full-sized portion, which now costs under S$10, is a great dish to gather family and friends around, among other signature dishes at the restaurant. To purchase the Claypot Sliced Fish Curry at S$9.90 nett, Emerald Members simply need to purchase an eCoupon through the app and redeem it while dining in at any Dian Xiao Er outlet.
This promotion will be available starting 1 September 2026.
For those of you who prefer dining by yourself, Dian Xiao Er’s Solo Lunch Sets present another discounted option for Emerald Members. Also available from 1 September 2026 onwards, Monday to Friday, from 11am to 4.29pm, these sets come with the choice of 1 main and 1 drink.
Choices for mains include the Iberico Char Siew Signature Bowl, Crab Roe Bee Hoon, and Thunder Tea Fried Rice. Diners can also choose between a Nourishing Pear Drink and Barley for their beverage.
Those who opt for the Crab Roe Bee Hoon or Thunder Tea Fried Rice will also get a side of Crispy Duck Wings in Salt & Pepper as part of their meal. At just S$9.90 for members and S$12.90 for non-members, these Solo Lunch Sets are wallet-friendly weekday lunch options in the middle of a work or school day.
