Are you feeling lucky? It’s time to get ‘taiko’ (a popular local slang for ‘getting lucky’) with Domino’s Pizza. The beloved pizza chain has launched brand new Japanese-inspired Mentaiko pizzas that will be available for a limited time only — from now till 26 October 2022.
Regardless of whether you prefer succulent prawns or smoked chicken breast with chicken sausages, both the new Ebi Mentaiko Pizza and Tori Mentaiko Pizza are topped with creamy, umami mentaiko mayonnaise.
Seriously, I can never get enough of mentaiko.
From now till 21 August 2022, customers who purchase the new pizzas will receive an exclusive Mentaiko pizza omamori sticker as part of Domino’s Taiko Festival. In accordance with Japanese culture, omamori are amulets or good luck charms that carry blessings for the recipient.
In addition, you can make any purchase to receive an omamori card (while stocks last) with a code that allows you to redeem a special surprise via Domino’s website or over the counter.
Sweeten up your surprise with the latest addition to the dessert menu — the Hokkaido Cream Cheese Fold, a toasted pastry stuffed with milky Hokkaido cream cheese and juicy pineapple chunks. It’s sweet, doughy, and just the slightest bit savoury (it’s also best enjoyed warm).
Taiko Epic Hunt
Domino’s is also hosting an island-wide Epic Hunt from 5–11 September 2022. During that week, customers who purchase a minimum of 1 Regular Mentaiko Pizza will stand a chance to receive their pizzas inscribed with the figures ‘88’ in luscious mentaiko sauce, along with a Golden Ticket which will entitle them to one year’s supply of pizzas.
