Nightlife has finally returned to its pre-COVID glory days, and we can look forward to letting loose at our favourite clubs like Zouk, Marquee and YANG. Especially for those of us who have sorely missed partying the night away and going absolutely nuts when the bass drops – it’s time to put our clubbing gear on and go dancin’ till the dawn.
Better yet, here’s the newest (and potentially hottest) club to add to your clubbing rotation – Drip Singapore – located a mere 4-minute walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT.
Branding itself as Singapore’s biggest underground club, Drip will officially open its doors on 8 July 2022. The interiors of the club look snazzy and all kinds of eclectic with unique features like a swimming pool that doubles up as a seating area, and a super random 600kg statue of Albert Einstein. #whut
IG-worthy and an aural buffet for the music-loving soul, there are two levels to look forward to, each with ambient neon lighting, its own conceptual theme and different music genres.
Depending on your mood of the night, start the party by vibing to Top 40s EDM in the Drip Main Room, before heading down to the basement, where you’ll find the eclectic Salt Room. This is where hip-hop (if you’re sick of the usual techno/EDM beats) will be played during their launch weekend, but you can also expect a mix of alternative and experimental genres in the weeks to come.
At the time of writing, presale tickets are fully sold out, but tickets can still be purchased at the door for S$40 (inclusive of a free drink), so if you’re looking to party it up here, don’t hesitate to make it a date with your friends!
PS: Do note that the dress code is smart casual — that means no shorts or slippers.
