Giddy up and grab your saddles, because we’re going to have a wild time at the Family Carnival at Bukit Timah Saddle Club. Now you can live out your wildest dreams and get up close and personal with horses and ponies at this equestrian-themed carnival.
The 2022 edition of this family carnival has an exciting lineup of carnival games, horse experiences, movies under the stars and more fun activities.
For those who enjoy watching horse showcases, you’ll be treated to quadrille performances, showjumping demonstrations, and dressage demonstrations from the club’s skilled riders. Cheer on your favourite horses and soak in the festive atmosphere while savouring delicious desserts at the carnival’s many food stalls.
Bring the kids on a pony ride through an exclusive route where the little ones can spot kingfishers, squirrels, and other forest critters. Or try out a scavenger hunt where you can redeem prizes from spotting animals in the forest – and even snakes! And if you want to experience true ranch life, why not try out a tractor ride?
The carnival also features a curated selection of wines from Marche, Umbria and Veneto, and visitors will get to taste high-quality wines and aperitives. With vendors such as Muddy Murphy’s Pub and The Good Alice, there’s something for everyone.
If you’ve been thinking about adopting a dog, now’s your chance with the carnival’s dog adoption drive in collaboration with Mercylight Animal Rescue & Sanctuary. With plenty of friendly and HDB-approved dogs up for adoption, you can bring a furry friend home (do note that adopters will be interviewed to find the best fit for the shelter dogs, and you are required to spay/neuter them).
The fun continues with giant inflatable hamster balls you can roll around with, and a laser clay firing range that’s fun for all ages. End off your day with a screening of Jumanji: The Next Level (S$35) under the stars, and munch on carnival snacks like hotdogs and popcorn.
With plenty to see and do over the two days at the Family Carnival at Bukit Timah Saddle Club, it’ll be great fun to spend your next weekend horsin’ around!
