Straight out of an ethereal garden fantasy, this Floral Afternoon Tea at One-Ninety Bar in Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is one of the most enchanting high tea experiences we’ve seen yet. Intricately crafted by Nicolai Bergmann, you can expect to be thoroughly delighted by the selection of sweets, savouries, teas and crafted cocktails
First up, imagine a wreath of gorgeous fresh flowers surrounding an alluring platter of botanical sweet treats from Osmanthus-Peach Puff and Pu-Er Tea-infused Mandarin Crémeux to Elderflower-Lemon Panna Cotta, Yuzu-Matcha Cake, Violet Macaron and more.
We also particularly enjoyed the Vanilla and Black Currant Scones with airy and zesty Lemon Balm Curd, Strawberry-Rose Preserves (delightful) and Devonshire Clotted Cream.
Apart from the sweets, the savouries are also exquisitely decorated with beautiful edible flowers and leaves from the Red Prawn Roll with Avruga Caviar and Scottish Smoked Salmon on Mini Brioche to the Truffle and Portobello Mushroom and more.
After all that food, what’s afternoon tea without some tea? Specially curated for this season, sip on the floral and buttery Pink Rose and Marigold Tea, or enjoy craft Lavazza Coffee alongside a selection of speciality Gryphon teas.
Otherwise, if you’re up for some noontime moonshine, indulge in a trio of specially crafted blossom-inspired cocktails served in elegant glass teapots, Hanami (fruity with a Roku Gin and Peach Liqueur base), Plumeria (citrusy with hints of lemon and pineapple), and Apple Blossom (fresh with an infusion of house-made Osmanthus Sencha Syrup).
Available only on the weekends from now till June 2022 from 2 to 5pm, at S$48 per person (excluding cocktails), and S$68 per person – don’t hesitate to make it a date and spend a lovely afternoon savouring this beguiling floral afternoon tea experience.
