Besides existing places like Universal Studios and SEA Aquarium at Sentosa, there has recently been a bunch of new and exciting things to do popping up on the island like the Sky Helix and upcoming Central Beach Bazaar — and that’s just brushing the tip of the iceberg.
To top it all off, Sentosa is also now offering free cable car rides on the Sentosa Line until 31 October.
This means that you’ll be able to enjoy a complimentary afternoon enjoying the gorgeous greenery and scenic waterfront views of the island from the comfort of a cable car (no sweaty walks!).
To be eligible for the free cable car ride, simply sign up for the free Islander membership online on Sentosa’s official site. Do note that you will have to verify your residency in Singapore via your Singpass as this is only available to Singaporeans and permanent residents too.
Make sure to redeem your free ticket on the day that you actually want to ride the cable cars though, as they are only valid on the day of redemption.
Once all that’s done, all you have to do is present your membership at the ticketing counters and you’re off on your leisurely cable car cruise along the island!
With an additional S$15, you will also be able to upgrade your free ticket into a pass that includes not only the Sentosa Line, but also the Mount Faber Line — which also has some pretty cool things that you can do and see from enjoying a picturesque meal atop the Arbora cafe to shopping for souvenirs at the retail stores.
Or, you could simply choose to enjoy the tranquil Mount Faber Peak views — perfect for a romantic date!
