If your go-to spots for Mexican food like Huevos have been packed like sardines, this is your sign to try out this new halal Mexican alfresco concept on Madras Street!

Brought to you by the TikTok-viral Lola Faye Cafe, newcomer Fuego Tacos is stirring up new heat as suggested in its name.

To start we’ve got the quintessential Tacos selection. First on the list is the Mystery Beef Birria (S$14)

To partly uncover the mystery for you, this is loaded with pulled beef brisket, coriander, Chipotle sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic sour cream, onions, and a mystery birria.

The other tacos are Fajitas Chicken (S$13) and Something’s Fishy (S$16).

Want to have a feast?

Meatier Sharing options include the Wings To Go (6 pcs). Choose from three flavours like the Original (S$12), Cranky Buffalo (S$13), and the Flaming Ghost Pepper Wings (S$13).

I have to warn you though that unlike the other two wing flavours, the Flaming Ghost Pepper Wings is branded with a whopping three chilli symbols beside its name. So brave the heat if you dare.

You can see whether Fuego Tacos’ nachos are up to par with other establishments through its Messy Nachos Ground Beef Taco (S$15) and Chipotle Pulled Beef (S$16).

Finally, we can’t not talk about their Melt-a-licious Quesadillas. There’s a Chipotle Pulled Beef (S$15) option for the quesadillas too, so you can sample either (but there’s nothing wrong with getting both either).

For something different, you can opt for the Fajitas Chicken (S$14) quesadillas. Either way, both quesadillas come with Pico De Gallo, Garlic Sour Cream, and served with guacamole.

The choices are endless, so I’d see why you’d be overwhelmed.

The Platters will save the day if you seek a little bit of everything. At just S$38, the Fuego Platter consists of six pieces of the Cranky Buffalo Wings, two Fajitas Chicken Quesadillas, two Chipotle Beef Quesadillas, Messy Nachos, and Chuckle Fries.

Burgers and pasta are on the menu too. Do note there’s only one burger available, the beef-based Nasty Burgs (S$22).

As for the pastas, there’s the Taco Pasta (S$18) and Fajitas Chicken (S$17)

If you want no mess from the tacos but similar components, Taco Pasta calls for you with its mix of shell pasta, ground beef, salsa roja, chopped coriander, garlic sour cream, and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Last but not least, fan the flames with dessert. Churros are a Mexican staple, so there’s no better way to have it than with their churro-based desserts.

To have the churros by themselves, get the Churro-ginal (S$8) and pick between having a Chocolate or Caramel sauce on the side.

Or kick things up a notch with the Churro-mazing (S$10) which consists of churros, cinnamon sugar, and vanilla ice cream.

Quench your thirst with the Beverages, all iced. These include the Peach Tea (S$4), Watermelon Milk (S$6), and more.

Will you be facing the flames of Fuego Tacos anytime soon?
