Going to the movies will be even more glamorous at Golden Village’s (GV) latest multiplex in Bugis+. Taking over the former Filmgarde at Level 5, this swanky new outlet will make your movie-going experience even more luxe.
The Bugis+ outlet features eight halls with plush seats for you to enjoy your movie comfortably. Taking your movie watching experience up a notch, GV’s Bugis+ multiplex uses state-of-the-art Barco cinema laser projection systems which delivers sharper and more consistent image quality — you can now watch your favourite superheroes fight in 4K Ultra ultra HD.
GV’s Bugis+ multiplex will also feature not one, but two Gold Class Express halls – the first multiplex to ever do so. Each hall is also much bigger and can accommodate 40 seats. No honey? No problem as the Gold Class seats now come with the option of single seating too.
Golden Village Bugis+ uses leatherette electronic recliners that come with an adjustable leg rest and personal USB ports for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the show in true Gold Class fashion — just don’t get too comfortable that you end up falling asleep in the middle of the movie.
But of course, no movie experience is complete without snacks. You can order your food and drinks via the iGV mobile app and consume them in the theatre.
Another special feature unique to GV’s Bugis+ outlet is the Spanish-Mexican dining concept, AZUL. You’ll be able to find starters like Gazpacho, Chorizo Frito, as well as a selection of Papa Fritas. For mains, you can indulge in the classic Quesadillas and Coney Dog.
AZUL also offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for you to have a quick pre-movie bubbly — there’s no better time to say “bottoms up!” Prices range from S$17 to S$20, with cocktails going for S$10 during Happy Hour.
To celebrate its grand opening, GV is having a special promotion. In partnership with DBS PayLAh!, the promotion runs from 10 to 16 March 2023. You can expect ticket prices as low as S$6 from Monday to Thursday, and S$9 from Friday to Sunday.
Booking starts after 3pm on 10 March, and there’s a limit of 250 tickets per day so fastest fingers first! Tickets will be available through PayLah!, the iGV app, or via GV’s official website.
