10 things to do at the new GR.iD Mall, formerly known as PoMo

by Vera

Having gone to university at SMU, to say that I’m well-acquainted with PoMo is an understatement. Back in the day, students like us would frequent the place like it’s our neighbourhood mall, stopping by for the ever-so-regular bowl of boat noodles. Now, the mall has transformed into GR.iD (GRID), a futuristic-looking hub that looks like it’s straight out of 2030.

If you’re thinking of taking the trip down, here are 10 things to eat, do, and keep yourself entertained with at GR.iD (GRID).

1. Chow down on Chops! Grill & Sides

Your trusty western food offering, Chops! Grill & Sides ensures that you’ll still get your hearty meat fix without breaking the bank — a balance that most of us will be hard-pressed to find. Here’s where you’ll find Golden Chicken Schnitzel, Ha Cheong Chicken, Crispy Sesame Wings, as well as other interesting iterations of the standard menu finds.

It uses real scenes, sound and light simulation, service design, mechanism configuration, and even NPC interaction to give players an immersive sense of immersion.
