Been daydreaming about the free-flow xiao long bao from Guo Fu Hotpot?
Good news for fans of the popular hotpot buffet restaurant — they’ve since relocated from China Square Central to Guoco Tower (just 10 minutes away) — still in the CBD, of course.
Even though the restaurant concept is the same, the set meals and most importantly, a la carte buffet options, have undergone a much-needed revamp.

Prices for the individual hotpot set meals range from S$25.90++ to S$39.90++, inclusive of a S$6.90 soup base, choice of carb, and ice cream. There are options for everyone, such as the popular Special Beef Set (S$29.90++), Seafood Set (S$29.90++), and even a Vegetarian Set (S$27.90++) for those on plant-based diets!

But of course, we know it’s the buffet most people are gunning for.
At the time of writing, there are three buffet options to choose from, with the most affordable being the Lunch Hotpot Buffet at S$33.90++ for adults and S$17.90++ for children with a height of 120 to 150cm.

The Dinner Hotpot Buffet, which is available from Mondays to Thursdays, Sundays & public holidays, is priced at S$36.90++, while the Weekend Dinner Hotpot Buffet (Fri, Sat & eve of PH) is priced at S$39.90++.

Take your pick from an array of meats like Sliced Special Beef, Sliced Pork, and Beef Tripe, along with a boatload of all the seafood (be sure to load up on Fresh Prawns and Scallops), vegetables, mushrooms, and noodles you can manage.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a buffet at Guo Fu without their signature unlimited Xiao Long Bao, that can be enjoyed alongside other dim sum options like Steamed Dumpling, Fried Bun, and Shallot Pancake (dinner only).

End the meal on a (sugar) high with Ice Cream, Pumpkin Puree, and if you visit at dinnertime, Fried Banana Fritter.

As for soup bases (from S$6.90++), there are 15 different varieties to choose from, like the chef-recommended Millet Golden, Pure Tomato, and Old Hen Fungus Soup. Do note that they are charged separately and do not come as part of the buffet.
