Ever wanted to experience what it’s like to be a survivor (or not) in a post-apocalyptic world populated by monsters? Well, you’ll soon be able to do just that at Southeast Asia’s most iconic scare event Halloween Horror Nights 12 — this time with global Korean hit Sweet Home.
This is Universal Studios Singapore’s third collaboration with entertainment service Netflix, following the haunted houses based on the popular Korean zombie series All of Us Are Dead and cult-favourite Stranger Things.
The Korean action-horror series, which is based on a popular webtoon, stars Baeksang Art Awards nominee Song Kang, Lee Jin-uk, and Lee Si-young.
The premise? A terrifying apocalyptic world where desire turns monstrous.
The news also comes at the perfect time, given that the third and final season will premiere on 19 July.
So, if you’ve enjoyed being transported into a realm ruled by chaos and mayhem (as a viewer), this is definitely one haunted house to put on the list, because where else will you be able to experience it first hand?
Sweet Home will be brought to life through a haunted house based on some of the series’ most spine-chilling scenes and grotesque monsters from both Season 1 and 2.
Part of the journey will even have visitors retracting the steps of characters through key locations in the Green Home apartment complex, including Cha Hyun-su’s apartment and the basement.
Let’s just say it’s not just your own monstrous desires you’ll be grappling with.
Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights 12 will take place across 18 event nights on select dates from 27 September to 2 November 2024. Tickets will go on sale on 13 August and can be purchased from Resort World Sentosa’s website, so start rounding up your friends ASAP!
