Two things we can never get enough of are Hello Kitty and afternoon tea. Now you can have them both with Anti:dote’s latest offering. Located in Fairmont Singapore, the cocktail bar and lounge pays tribute to Sanrio’s most iconic character with an all-new Hello Kitty Whimsical Tea Indulgence afternoon tea.
Available from 2 March to 3 April 2022, the menu features sweet and savoury creations with an adorable Hello Kitty touch. Think stout BBQ-glazed Kurobuta pork buns, lychee cherry choux puffs, and raspberry crémeux cookies. There will, of course, be freshly baked scones served with Devonshire clotted cream, strawberry marmalade, and lemon butter curd. Ooh la la.
And no afternoon tea at Anti:dote is complete without being served in the quintessential chest of drawers — an IG-worthy display that’s sure to elicit expressions of awe and delight.
Two mocktails have been specially crafted just for this event: Hello Kitty (S$18), Pink Flamingo tea infused with milk, strawberry, rose citric acid, and aquafaba, and Dear Daniel (S$18), a concoction of butterfly pea, apple, cucumber, citric acid, and coconut cream.
The afternoon tea is priced at S$72 per person, but you can choose to add on an Amuse Bouche or two for S$80 and S$88 respectively. Bring your kids along, for Anti:dote is also offering a special dose of Children Tea (S$36 per person), with dainty sandwiches, petit sweets, and plenty of hot chocolate.
Kitty-themed staycation
