You’ll get to stay in Hobbiton itself – in a cosy nook, The Millhouse, a two-bedroom Hobbit-inspired home with a writing nook fit for Bilbo Baggins, and themed décor curated by the trilogies’ Creative Director Brian Massey. The Millhouse comfortably sleeps four, and is equipped with a garden, fireplace, and other unique features. It also boasts panoramic views of the Shire, so you’ll be treated to scenic sunrises and lush scenery.
Dine at The Green Dragon Inn from the movies with a grand feast for an entire village of hobbits – dig into beef and ale stew, whole roast chickens, freshly baked bread and plenty of ale, and even Second Breakfast and Elevenses, served daily.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, guests will have special access to 44 permanently constructed Hobbit Holes and other beloved locations in the Shire, as well as a specially curated tour of the movie set that gives you a behind-the-scenes look into the beloved trilogies.
For a peaceful getaway, catch some downtime at your personal Hobbit Hole, where you can enjoy afternoon tea fit for a king.
Only three lucky fans will get to experience Hobbiton however, as there will only be three two-night stays on 2 to 4 March, 9 to 11 March and 16 to 18 March 2023. Room reservations open at 5am (Singapore time) on 14 December 2022, so set plenty of alarms if you want to wake up on time and secure your booking (fastest fingers first!). What’s more, room rates start from just S$9 per night, making it an incredibly affordable and one-of-a-kind experience.
