You probably wouldn’t think of heading down to Changi Airport you’re looking for a quaint, greenery-filled spot to chill out at. However, did you know there’s actually an idyllic little glasshouse cafe hidden away in a corner of Changi Airport called Hub & Spoke Cafe?

It’s not the most accessible or well-known place compared to the slew of glitzy new openings at Jewel but it’s a relaxing spot flaunting a scenic green lawn and surrounded by the calm of greenery. Quite different from the rest of Changi Airport.

With elegant, minimalistic decor and tall ceiling-height glass windows allowing plenty of natural sunlight to flood the space, Hub & Spoke Cafe almost makes you feel like you’re out of Singapore.

To get to the cafe, you have to take a bit of detour out T2 of Changi Aport through the multi-storey car park. Sure it’s a bit harder to get here but the hidden cafe vibes are worth it.

Besides letting your eyes feast on the gorgeous ambience at Hub & Spoke Cafe, you can also find a pretty extensive cafe menu here. Their offerings range from your classic cafe brunch fare to many local favourites you wouldn’t normally find at similar cafes.

A brunch special is the Big Breakfast (S$15.90) that is decorated with a hearty ensemble of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon strips, toasts and sautéed mushrooms that will satisfy any cafe hopper.

Other items that Hub & Spoke Cafe are particularly known for is their seafood rolls with a seasonal Lobster Roll in the past getting a lot of attention, and then the followed with a subsequent Truffle Crab Roll (S$19.90).

But if you want something with a little more local flair, they are also known for their Nasi Lemak (S$7.90), which is affordably priced for cafe fare even if a tad steeper than other Nasi Lemak outside.

Besides the fragrant rice dish, you can also find other local favourites on their menu including Laksa (S$6.90) and Mee Siam (S$5.90) — you’d be spoilt for choice with the plethora of both western and local delights available at Hub & Spoke. And the gorgeous views just make it all the more enjoyable to hang out here.
