It is December, and the year-end durian season is upon us! Though not as intense as the June–September period (that’s when people really go crazy), there are still plenty of durian lovers looking to grace their year-end parties with the prized fruit.
If feasting to your heart’s content is your idea of a good time, Lexus Durian King along Upper Serangoon Road is having an all-you-can-eat durian buffet for a limited time only.
This popular durian buffet, which was first launched in early November 2022, is available every day from 11am (until stocks run out) and is priced at a value-for-money S$38.80 per person.
This enticing buffet comes inclusive of free-flow Mao Shan Wang — the rich, creamy, buttery, and bittersweet variety loved by many — and D24, if you like, as long as stocks are still available.
To make the experience less “heaty”, diners can also get one free coconut (while stocks last) and free-flow water when they like Lexus Durian King’s Facebook page.
Although the durian stall has multiple outlets islandwide, the buffet is only available at the Upper Serangoon Road outlet, so those staying in or around Hougang are in luck! Do note that there is also a time limit of one hour.
No end date has been specified at the time of writing, but you can expect the buffet to be around for the next month or so (unless the supply of Mao Shan Wang dwindles).
