“Look at the greenery on the wall, it makes the place look so pretty, clean, fresh and gives off some serious Bali resort vibes!”
With the beauty it can easily add to any space, It’s no wonder that we see plant-themed decorations creeping into different places around us – from the displays in cafes to shops and even homes. If you’re inspired by the abundance of plant-themed decor and would love to potentially introduce something similar to your home…
Mosscape has an excellent 90-minute workshop that will teach you how to design and build your own incredible moss art masterpiece. (Yes, preserved moss so you don’t have to worry about watering it!)
Apart from the usual potted plants or dried flowers, a gorgeous vertical wall garden – like these moss art masterpieces – is a good option to consider. Not only is it space-efficient due to its vertical display, but there’s also a good variety of designs featuring an assortment of plants, ferns and even moss.
At Mosscape’s workshop (S$150), all workshop materials will be provided and you will be working with preserved moss along with figurines and other accessories. This is where you can have fun putting together your own vertical moss garden, before bringing your beautiful new natural art home to display on a wall. (Better yet, because this is preserved moss, you won’t need to spend time maintaining your little wall garden, unlike the ones that use live plants!)
This is a lovely way to introduce biophilic design into your space (a design concept that uses natural design elements to bring nature into our surroundings). And it’s definitely a unique date idea, and good family bonding activity if you’re looking for something a little more out-of-the-box to do!
PS: If you’re looking for potted plants, planters and other decorative home furnishings like water features, coffee tables and more, you’ll also be able to find those here.
