Out of all seasonal burgers from McDonald’s, there is one extremely famous menu item that has been absent for the past four years —- until now.
It’s been awhile, Nasi Lemak Burger.

The locally-inspired burger was first introduced in 2017, to a whole lotta fanfare, and last appeared on the menu in 2019, so you can bet we’re all really, really excited for the new and improved version.

The new version of the Nasi Lemak burger is more sensational than ever and features a sedap sambal sauce made from belachan, curry paste, shrimp, and anchovies.
The patty is also much crispier and boasts a stronger lemak marinate — it will certainly pack a punch. Of course, the burger is not complete without the iconic semolina buns.

Alongside the burger, McDonald’s will also be releasing the creamy Cocoa-nut pie and a new Bandung frappe — which comes topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.
The former is a harmonious blend of creamy nata de coco encased within a crispy cocoa-infused crust — sounds intriguing.

The burger is priced at S$8.30 for a la carte and from S$9.30 for an extra value meal. If you’re in the mood for a feast, you can go for the Nasi Lemak Burger Feast S$11.50 which comes with potato wedges, and Cocoa-nut pie.
Mark your calendars now and get ready to sink your teeth into everyone’s favourite burger very soon!
