Want a more secluded spot to ring in the new year? Tanjong Rhu Promenade is a place as good as any to watch the fireworks from a tall lookout tower. There’s even a suspension bridge for those feeling extra adventurous. We say it’s worth conquering your fear of heights for those fabulous views.

One of the most popular spots to picnic and catch fireworks at the same time is Marina Barrage. If you want to snag a comfortable spot, go early, as there’ll be plenty of fellow revellers camping here for the best views. All things considered, there’s nothing like feeling the night breeze in your hair and winding down the year in comfort with your loved ones!

Sometimes, the best views are hidden in plain sight, and that rings true at the Golden Mile Tower Carpark, which offers a panoramic open-air view of the fireworks. Spots here are limited, so you’re better off heading to the top floor of the open-air carpark hours before the actual countdown.
