Truly one of the most romantic places we’ve come across, welcome to North Star Valley in Chiang Mai where you’ll find a new (ish) bubble glamping experience perfect for those looking to stay somewhere extraordinary. (Opened in September 2019 – just before COVID-19 struck – this glamping resort is still fairly new since borders only started opening recently in 2022.)
Located on an elevated hillside overlooking the glorious valley, the hill is dotted with gorgeous bubble hotels intentionally built well-spaced out to provide privacy for guests checking into each of the transparent stays.
Once here, in the morning, you’ll get to wake up to a misty sea of clouds and enjoy incredible sweeping views of the valley when the mist clears.
Next, enjoy a swim or a bubble bath in your outdoor bathtub with unparalleled lush views of the valley – you can also choose to have afternoon tea by the pool too.
If that’s not enough, there’s also a lovely IG-worthy swing you can swing from and enjoy the views from.
When you’re famished, tuck into a sublime spread thoughtfully prepared by the bubble glamping resort’s in-house chefs (there’s a cafe here too!). The food is not only well-plated (perfect for photos or videos on your Instagram/TikTok feed), but it has also been raved about by travellers who have stayed here – so you know you will be thoroughly pampered here.
Ready to end the day? Get into your transparent bubble stay, sink into the bed and snuggle under the covers as you gaze at the abundant twinkling stars above.
