If you’ve never heard of Parlour Mirage, there’s no better time than now to get acquainted with this really cool restaurant and bar located at Owen Road on the first level of a heritage shophouse.
Serving up a fusion of traditional Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine, and also known to be the perfect joint for those who love a good craft beer, this restaurant serves up quality bites and brews in spades.
Just the food alone is enough to make you want to make multiple trips down, from the melt-in-your-mouth tender Meltique Beef Skewers with incredible marbling to the crowd favourite Furikake Fries (goes well with the Tutti Frutti Tart Sour Beer).
They’re definitely serious about their food and even make their umami-rich Yakitori Sauce from scratch, generously applying that goodness to “anything and everything”!
Other tantalising items on the menu include Steak & Hummus (great for those on a keto diet), Burrata Spinach Salad, Fish & Chips, and Soft Shell Crab Quesadilla.
With full-on flavour and great presentation, even the pickiest of eaters (like a particular friend of mine) will be thoroughly satisfied here.
On the drinks front, they have 12 taps of fresh beer waiting and ready for you, along with a curated selection of ice-cold IPAs just waiting to be cracked open and relished.
Apart from the bites and brews, one other interesting thing about Parlour Mirage is that they are also known to be Singapore’s first NFT bar and lounge. For anyone into NFTs or looking to hubbub with fellow NFT enthusiasts, this is the perfect place to gather with NFT experts, amateurs and more.
They’ve hosted various NFT events, exhibitions and meet-ups, one of the latest being a community hang for the popular Tasty Toastys, and a gathering for The Other Side.
