Singapore’s drinking scene has just been taken up a notch with the opening of People People Brewery Co at Resort World Sentosa. Created by the team behind Michelin-starred restaurant, Burnt Ends, the microbrewery marks its venture into Singapore’s spirit industry—and they definitely know how to make an entrance.
People People Brewery Co spans a full 10,000 sq ft and comes equipped with custom-made 1500-litre tanks. These tanks brew the beer in-house, which is served straight to diners through built-in taps, making it the freshest brew you can get in town.
Spotlighting some of its premium lagers and IPAs, the Japanese Rice Lager is currently one of its best-sellers, made with the finest short-grain rice with a crisp, clean flavour. For a more fun option, Poolside Pils (S$12) has a citrusy flavour for a more coastal vibe. Pair it with some seafood, such as Wheat Beer Mussels and Chips (S$31) or a Salt and Pepper Squid (S$16) for the ultimate drinking experience.
Premium beer calls for premium food, and the team behind Burnt Ends won’t fail to deliver. The brewery features a menu centred on wood-fired cooking, with bangers like Margherita Pizza (S$24), Rotisserie Chicken (S$16), Blackmores’ Burger (S$24), and other similar selections that taste best when tipsy.
Highlighting the social aspect of drinking, the brewery positions itself as a social hub, with live music and sports screenings to keep the atmosphere lively. It even organises events and experiences, such as a Trivia Night and a Meet the Maker session, for a more interactive and educational experience beyond just drinks.
