One of the most unique National Day specials Pizza Express has rolled out is probably the Laksa Pizza (S$26) that’s slathered in a special homemade laksa sauce. Talk about a special and uniquely Singaporean pizza.
It’s also topped with familiar laksa ingredients such as prawns, mussels, squid, clams, quail’s eggs and even fried beancurd.
But if you’re looking for something spicy, Pizza Express’ National Day specials have you covered too.
The Indian-inspired Tandoori Chicken Pizza (S$26) has a more regular pizza base of passata and mozzarella cheese, but it’s loaded with marinated chicken, red peppers, cucumber strips and mint yoghurt to perfectly replicate tandoori chicken.
But if you’re not in the mood for Indian flavours, there’s also the Beef Rendang Pizza (S$26). The dough is drenched rich rendang, then finished with red onions, red chilli, and cilantro — that’s a renDang cool idea.
The last of the Pizza Express National Day specials is a Chicken Satay Pizza (S$26). Dressed with a peanut sauce and littered with juicy chicken thigh strips, it’s meant to remind you of the orginal skewers — but without the sticks!
