If time is tight and you’re tasked to get both desserts and mains, Korio is a one-stop destination serving sandwiches and doughnuts. Their sandwiches are easy to eat, and the doughnuts double as a sweet finish, so you don’t need to head to a separate dessert shop. 

Some personal favourites are their Brisket Sandwich (S$18.50) and Truffle Chicken Burger (S$15.50), followed by the Cinnamon Sugar Doughnut (S$5.50) with whipped maple butter, and the Original Glazed Doughnut (S$4.50)

Hoping to impress the crowd and make them go, “Wah, so cute. Where did you get it from?” Then Butter Bread’s Butter Eggs (S$22) are the move. It comes in a box of 6 pieces, including 3 flavours – 2 Pistachio, 2 Dark Chocolate, and 2 Salted Egg. If you’re looking for something more unique, try their Madeleine Oolong Tea and Pineapple (S$17.50) or Mochi Madeleines (S$13), also in a box of 6. 

If you’re in charge of getting bigger bites in pastry form, snug their Mentaiko Shio Pan (S$7) and Orh Nee Mochi Croissant (S$6.50) for something new and uncommon that’s worthy of a try!
