You may have heard about the DIY acai bar with unlimited toppings, but it’s now time to go back to our roots at Rave Brew.
Nestled away in International Plaza near Tanjong Pagar, this tiny shop offers a similar concept: good ol’ bubble tea with free-flow, all-you-can-take toppings.
There are tons of bubble tea flavours to choose from, but everything is priced at just S$4 and S$6 for a small and large cup respectively. Think flavours like Taro, Strawberry Osmanthus, White Peach Oolong, Jasmine Green Tea, Earl Grey, Matcha, and more.
Those with massive sweet tooths will probably enjoy the Brown Sugar Milk Tea the most, as you’re free to layer on as much brown sugar syrup as you like.
Choose your tea flavour, and the staff will help you fill up your cup (although you can probably do it yourself if you ask nicely).
After that, you’ll get to help yourself to all the toppings your heart desires.
Do note that the toppings station doesn’t come with any labels, but around 20 different types of toppings are available at any given time. This includes the likes of Grass Jelly; Brown Sugar Konjac; Oats; Nata de Coco; Egg Pudding; Oreo Crush; and Popping Boba in flavours like lychee, passionfruit, and mango.
It’s like a buffet, but for bubble tea!
Rave Brew also sells dessert waffles, two of which are named after Rihanna (S$3.50) and Taylor Swift (S$3.50), but they’re pretty much the standard sugary fare you can find at most old-school waffle joints.
So, if you’re the sort that drinks bubble tea with an excessive amount of boba, this is the place to hit up.
